Many of you might not know who Kotos is but if you did you would know he was a good guy. He recently passed at his young age. He spent most of his free time on TitsRP and going to the gym. You might know him from fishing at fountain all day or having the chem barrel leaderboard however you know him I'm sure you knew how good of a person he truly was. Kotos is an older player so many of the OG's will know him he was a staff member a few times as well I just thought I'd make this post to morn the loss of one of our own. RIP Kotos He always gave us great laughs and will be missed.

Hi everyone, as the title suggests I will making this informal post regarding to suicide, if you are someone who does not like reading this topic and/or are triggered by it, I suggest skipping this post and moving on to the next. anyways, I wanted to bring up this topic to bring awareness to a disease that I have called MDD Major Depressive Disorder. MDD is a metal disorder that causes a person to feel extreme and most often suicidal tendencies within depression. Not everyone with depression has MDD. MDD affect only %8.3 of the population, its most common in young women aged 18-25 as well as teenagers and adolescents. 75% of people who are diagnosed with MDD often to do not receive treatment for the disorder. I am one of the 75% who have not received treatment for this disorder. why is this important to know? People who are diagnosed with MDD and/or general depression disorder do not seek treatment and do not talk to their loved ones regarding the condition. 20% of people diagnosed with MDD end their lives due to this condition. That’s 1 in every 3 adults diagnosed. what are symptoms to look for if you believe that a friend or a loved one is affected by MDD? shockingly a lot of people often do not show symptoms, they are their normal selves except for minor things such as not wanting to be social, refusing to talk to people as often, losing motivation for things they love, extreme fatigue and exhaustion. Arguably, you see these symptoms in a lot of people who are not diagnosed with MDD, which is why it’s important to check in on your loved ones often if you believe they might be a victim to depression or MDD. people who are diagnosed with MDD experience symptoms such as persistent sadness often lasting months to years, loss of interest in activities, extreme fatigue (some would categorize this as “bed rotting”), weight changes, And difficulty concentrating, which can be exceptionally difficult for people who are in school. How do you know when someone might commit suicide or is thinking about committing suicide? Funny enough, you will most likely see a random burst of happiness followed by them asking you to hang out with them constantly, buying you items, giving their stuff away, ect... this means they have already thought about suicide and plan on committing suicide soon. If you see someone do this to you randomly, talk to them. Please. in conclusion, please check in on your loved ones, and if you feel like these symptoms may be what you are experiencing, please find help with a therapist or psychiatrist. He's been far more active in the community, in game, and has returned to properly managing the staff team. Cons: Can sometimes be a LITTLE combative with problematic parts of the community (which while fucking hilarious can backfire at times) Overall Rating and Notes: A. The LOA he took combined with more community engagement has done a lot for him quality wise. While he's obviously not 100% flawless he's finally back to being someone who deserves his position and is comfortable performing in it. Vex Pros: Despite being pretty freshly new to the role, Vex has adapted to it practically instantly and has already pushed for some major changes within the team. Vex has a good standing in the community as well, and hasn't had an incident yet to name. Cons: Still euro trash tea drinking disgusting brit I hope someone pours his fuckass leaf juice into another harbor Overall Rating and Notes: S. Vex has hit the ground running following his long overdue promotion and has already had a very positive impact on the team as a whole. Senior Moderators: Tali Pros: Not much else to add from last time. Tali has continuously shown improvement, and while I cant give any particular examples since he's been on Loa, he's still been doing a solid job. Cons: Tali could still probably stand to adamantly stand on business when it comes to higher up decisions. Overall Rating and Notes: A-. Tali is still doing a good job and hasn't had an incident yet to name. Get off LOA, nerd. ChefSoda Pros: Like predicted, Chef was pretty much a No Brainer candidate for SMod. He has good common sense opinions on the forums, is active in both the community and in game, and is a good example of what the mod team should strive for. Cons: The only con I can really name beyond a few mild complaints I've heard about him here and there is simply that he's too new to have made a major impact yet. Overall Rating and Notes: B+. Keep up the good work, settle into the role, and over time you'll start standing out more whilst being able to voice your opinions and stances more effectively. Succ the Zucc Pros: It makes me physically perhaps even violently ill to compliment him. I get cold sweats, my hands shake, and I get sent into violent rages. I've killed 2 coworkers so far just trying to force myself to give it props. They are unrecognizable. Numerous investigations have been launched. I'm currently the target of an international manhunt. My rampage is not over yet. Before I'm caught and summarily sentenced to death, I will kill again. As I type, I am currently in the midst of sawing my own left foot off. Succ has shown significant growth during his time as staff, a common trend pretty much anyone will say if asked how Succ has been performing as of late. Cons: Some slack is obviously deserved considering he was reviewed after having JUST returned from LOA, but could stand to be a bit more assertive in his sits as to maintain control of them a bit better. Overall Ranking and Notes: B. Outside of his slight issues with sit management, a solid moderator overall. Choom Pros: Has had a MASSIVE glow up since the last tier list. Other members of staff pretty much only have positive things to say about him. Has good community interaction, positive outreach, solid sit quality, and no notable incidents regarding his staffing career. Cons: The only cons I can really think of may just be to maintain a more active forums presence if even that. Overall Ranking and Notes: A-. Future SMod candidate. Fontaine Pros: While seeing Fontaine back is pretty surprising, he so far hasn't been an unwelcome addition to the team. His sit quality is solid if not a bit spotty, and while leniency is important Fontaine can sometimes be a bit TOO lenient (refer to the PD sign incident). Still, by no stretch would I say Fontaine is a bad moderator and has a very positive reputation in the community. Cons: Beyond the fact that he can sometimes be a bit too lenient, having private discords off server can SOMETIMES lead to problems with staff security. Overall Ranking and Notes: B-. Fontaine is absolutely a solid moderator, and what little flaws he has are easily solvable. Would still he careful regarding the new discord server however. StaticCG Pros: Static despite being a pretty fresh mod has had a surprisingly positive impact on the community and the team as a whole. He's received plenty of praise regarding his attitude from his peers, comes off as a pretty easygoing guy, and I haven't heard anything bad from anyone as far as his sit quality goes. Cons: Static has had problems with being subtle at times. Sits can sometimes require watching before acting, which can lead to problems if you skip that in favor of immediately confronting the issue head on. Overall Ranking and Notes: B. The guy absolutely has a kickass attitude I can appreciate, he just needs to work on that one issue. Ego Pros: NGL idk if he's on loa or what but I haven't really seen him do anything yet. I don't really see him in game, on forums, and as far as community interaction goes I've really only ever seen him being negative and engaged in some kind of drama. Cons: Very toxic personality which has not changed even slightly since becoming staff. No issues when he does this as a player, but as a mod it's not a great look. Overall Ranking and Notes: C-. Maybe instead of reapplying when you know the person that's gonna deny you is on LOA, just work to be a better person so they don't have a reason to deny you in the first place? Pibble (Xoxt) Pros: Absolute jitaholic. Is SCARED to base. Good mod though, very solid sit quality, well liked by a majority of the community, loses rdm zone a lot though Cons: Doesn't have a base dupe with anti Thomas capabilities, would advise. Overall Ranking and Notes: B+. Solid mod in pretty much every staff run he's had with only a few issues here and there. Hi. Welcome to the decompression chamber. So, for like the past two or three months there’s been a few notable incidents where I’ve seen some trans members of the TitsRP community being subject to abuses of various kinds. The usual, dumb kinda shit you see on Gmod or just the internet as a whole obviously, but also slurs and general player targeting. Now that Agro is finally on the chopping block and out of the staff team I feel like I can say with full, less-than-professional clarity: Fuck that guy. Fuck everyone else involved in perpetuating that behavior too. The mask has slipped enough for it to be blatantly obvious, but I wish it didn’t have to come to that point in order for something to be done about it. Some of y’all have probably more than noticed the gaslighting taking place when trans folk on the server would have their concerns/reports ignored or would become the recipient of extremely severe punishments for minor indiscretions. Bringing up incidents like these, I’ve seen people (Agro included) say that it’s an overreaction and not that important. Well, here’s where complacency brought us. I wish I could say it’ll get any better, but it won’t. That’s kinda a fact of life right now, and I’m sure y’all know it much better than I do. Regardless, I wish you all the best and I hope you’re all doing okay. Crossing our fingers, things will look better, and people will stop playing pretend like there isn’t a problem. BEFORE YOU READ THIS IS NOT A SHITPOST! On behalf of some current long time playing members and the people who have left the community (whether it was in a bad way or not) There is some honest issues that a lot of us see about this server's staff team. Now that being said the staff team is "alright" but there is some underlying issues that some of us has noticed and I feel I am the only one brave enough to say anything here. This post will probably get taken down by a SMOD+ because suppressing anybody who is willing to have a voice and speak up about things get shut down immediately. Let's start with the reason I left the staff team besides my military reason's. As being staff to which I thought was fun in the beginning because I enjoyed the server a lot many great memories from 2016-present. But as I soon noticed there is a clique like mentality that goes on, you are either an Assaulter or a McStubbins or your opinion means nothing. AND I MEAN NO DISRESPECT TO THE ASSAULTER'S OR MCSTUBBIN'S but I felt that if they did not think I was "cool" or joined the cliques they got going on, that my voice or opinion meant nothing at all. As staff I feel like you are a supposed to be a team but I didn't feel that at all. I have talked to some former staff member's and they agree as well (I will not give out their names). Another reason was that I felt like I was getting no help at all when I would be on, now I am fully aware that this is a voluntary and I will probably get the response of "Well you should just ask for help", but I felt that I shouldn't have to ask for help when there is other staff on but no one is taking sits but me. And all the player's would yell at me for not taking their sit's etc. when other people were fully capable. It was mentally draining and pushed me to dislike being a staff member here. Second thing I have noticed is "community suppression" it's a very broad statement I know, but what I basically mean is that if the staff does not know you they don't care which I think new member or not you should be able to speak about things and have a voice and staff should at least listen. I feel that if you have something that you need to say and say it (if it's not being stupid) and the staff team disagree they will just delete the post or not even look at it or even care at all. Which I feel should not happen I feel everyone should have a voice and be able to speak about something before staff just goes "Nope I don't agree with this *delete*". And if you do say something about it after they will just pull the "Drama Mongering" or "shit posting" card and you can find yourself banned or removed from the discord or forums. Third thing I have noticed is "Bias", some staff members (not saying names) are super biased towards players whether it be friends or what not. I feel that some player's may get to "harsh" of a punishment for doing something but then when the person they like does it it's almost like they get away with it. Another form of being biased is as a staff member you can ALMOST get away with anything you want because with this clique like mentality "whos going to report me?". And as now a player I feel that if you "kiss ass" to the staff members you can get away with a lot more than the average joe. If you "butt-buddy" a staff member you won't get a severe punishment if even a punishment at all. I feel that I am the only one who has spoken out about some of these issues is because of the fear of getting banned from the community that they enjoy, but I'm different I honestly don't care anymore I have kept my mouth quiet about these things until now. I have only said these things now because I am getting a little tired of it and some other issues is pushing me away from the community and not make me want to play on the server anymore. In the past couple weeks I have had no desire to play on the server that I spent a lot of time on at all. Do I expect anything to be done about this?, most likely not. Do I expect a forums moderator to take this down because they disagree with what I have said?, absolutely. This thread was made in regards to recent rumors that multiple pets are under the radar to be nerfed/adjusted. NOTE: I could care less about Snowfox, it was adjusted to 10 minutes which is fine and most Snowfox users are fine with this change compared to the nerf Rubik issued at first but I HAVE heard rumors that Snowfox lootpool was silent nerfed which is very questionable and should be viewed with a large data pool before lootpools even have a chance to be nerfed.) So let's start, what is this even for? I created this thread to open a door for community discussion for the sole reason that things occur without community feedback more often now than in the present. In short, the forums and community feedback is dead (so to speak). So let's start, I'd like to shed light that people are going around with different opinions on what they believe to be broken pets or pets or mechanics that are unfair to new players. The argument I'd like to make here is that we should view alternative methods of adjustment rather than just tweaking percentage values or flat-out breaking pet's abilities or game-mechanics. The more and more that we nerf things, the gameplay mechanics just overall (many others and I believe) would become less and less unique and borderline not fun. What's a good talking point for other methods? Let's explore one pet that has been rumored to be nerfed... Snowman Pet SPECIAL: Lootboxes cost 25% less XP when going to the Lootbox vendor. How could Snowman not be viewed "overpowered" as it seems?: Many others and I believe that pets or game-mechanics observed as being "broken" or "overpowered" -- are very subjective due to how much someone uses (or no-life's) the abilities of pets or game-mechanics (great example is Katoon with BP's). This doesn't inherently mean anything is broken or overpowered -- it really just means that the person who is doing these things are spending hours and days of their lives to grind on a Garry's Mod server to achieve something they desired. Don't get me wrong, I believe the BP nerf was needed to a certain extent but the talking-point of all of discussions regarding nerfs should honestly be the countless hours and days spent by these people that make these mechanics seem broken. Exploring alternatives to nerfing: Create ways for new players to gain things that pets offer inherently -- such as creating a purchasable "XP buff" for the Lootbox Seller that lets newer players get a percentage discount on Lootboxes that DOESN'T stack with the Snowman. This suggestion could allow new-players to have the very same thing that other players grinded for but for a price that allows them to have a temporary buff. The best mechanic to compare this suggestion to is the battlepass purchasable task reduction that allows players to have to do less for rewards (MUCH LIKE THE HERMY PET WOW?). My conclusion to open door for conversation Let's try to create community feedback instead of things happening behind the scenes that create outrage. I'd like this topic to actually stay on point (even though it'll be trolled) and actually create change otherwise people will probably become less and less interested in TitsRP (as I've heard and heard countless times). Maybe we could create suggestions inside of this thread that give alternatives to nerfs or things that could ruin mechanics in the future. The bank once a place to make money has now turned into nothing. Why did this happen? One day a team attacked the bank leaving it with nothing this caused the banks money generation to greatly decrease. As everyone FULL amount was taken out. Usually in a bank raid your money is never fully taken out but as a resort of having nothing left the bank took everything. 4 years of random players putting in money to never take it out gone. In fact no system changes were made to the bank to my knowledge. What must be done We have lost a good money source a lot of money could be made from the bank with investors and raiders.
