  1. Hello, My name is ZeshTheDoge. I am an Ex-Mod. I was banned for "threatening to go rogue" twice but more importantly I never went rogue and I never had actually mass banned. I do not control other peoples actions on what they say or do just like nobody controls my actions. We do not play god here we just come to rp and have fun. I spent 3 years of my time on titsrp mostly just staffing to keep the server in a good flow. I honestly miss the og days. I hope you guys enjoy my heartwarming ban appeal and thank you for reading this. -Zesh

  2. L BOZO TENTH LINE IN THE MOTD! DO listen to staff. Even if something isn't explicitly mentioned in the MOTD, does not mean it's okay. If you have an issue with a staff ruling, take it up on the forums instead of in-game. ACCEPT DEFEAT! REIKO DID NOTHING WRONG! HE TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP 10 TIMES! YOU JUST KEPT BITCHING! CP MAIN MOMENT!

  3. This might come as a surprise because advertising buying/selling DarkRP cash for IRL cash has been banned for quite a while. When I first saw Sugar going against it in 2020 in some threads I never thought he would actually ban it. From my perspective it was beneficial for both parties of the trade and had no negative repercussions. These are the 2 main threads where you can view Sugar's arguments and other users either against it or for it. 1 : 2 : I will try to make out Sugar's arguments in sections for it to be easier to understand. 1- "I want people to play on the server for as long as possible." Sugar said : "When you give player's the option to basically reach end game right away by having 30+ mil, their time played will be severely decreased. Look at player's who have actually purchased money from people (I know who they are) and a good amount of them have basically quit at this point or have turned around and started selling the money they purchased already. Removing the sale of in game money has no negative consequence other losing players who play on the server that have the one goal of cashing out. EDIT: The other bullet point of it taking revenue away from the server is also big. You guys want more content but we simply don't have enough funds to hire more developers. It's just me producing new content and I work a full time job + have my own things I am interested in outside of TitsRP." This "option" is already given by the server itself, you can buy 30+mil worth of suga dolla so the first part of this argument is already void. He made an edit to specify that it removes revenue which is a fair point and I will be talking about it more in detail later. I would argue the complete opposite, if you want people to play for as long as possible selling/buying is a great way to do it. I myself have been selling back in 2019 some of my cash. I had I think around 70mil back then with no personal CC I wasn't at the "end game" like Sugar tries to make it sound. People who are willing to buy usually will play more than the average player and this should be obvious. Buying cash for new players from other players was a way to bond with the community as a new player. Most of the people I sold cash to asked me question on how to make money, how to do certain things and some of them added me on steam and saw them play for over 1 year+. Not only do new players play more often but the old players play WAY more because it's usually this competitive mind set that makes them play on this server. I want to address the "End game" sugar makes reference to. DarkRP has many ways to play itself and usually the Owner chooses how it goes. As for TitsRP you can choose the path that suits you, goofing around and roleplaying or be competitive. Sadly the competitive scene has fallen because of this ban. There is no powerful incentive to be competitive and base anymore. I know people who never base and just roleplay and that's fine but you deleted a part of the community which also had their fun and their own way which was being competitive in basing/rading. 2- "It stops people from basing for 20 hours a day inflating the economy and selling their "hard earned cash" for IRL money (hence why people have broken the 300 mil limit which hasn't been broken for 5+ years) but has been broken within 2 months because some people have been basing for 20+ hours a day" Sugar tries to pin the economy's inflation onto people who sell/buy darkrp cash for IRL money. Ironically enough 1 year after the ban we have demolished this 300mil record. I got the statistics of 2018 and 2021 and the difference is HUGE. The top 3 riches people right now have 1 billion+ and 26 players have 100mil+ compared to 2018 where only 8 people had 100mil+. Weirdly enough this was when proccesors were OP but the economy was still way less inflated than today. I would argue that selling/buying DarkRP cash made rich people spread their wealth to new player and other players who would spend their money on CC or other things that would at least remove some cash from the economy. To be fair there are many factors that could cause this inflation and we don't have good stats to prove either of our points but I still think that selling/buying would help dissipate the money and not hoard it. 3- "At the end of the day, it's more a "it just doesn't look good" for us. This is a RP server, not a "Selling 50mil $1 a mil. PM me for my paypal. Buy now and get 500 pickup boxes" kinda server. I don't like having people shove IRL cash kinda stuff down people's throat. Why do you think I never advertise the shop? If people WANT to pay for things, they will go out of their way to look for it." This is a subjective matter, Sugar projects himself as the new player to try to solve this issue. While this might be true for some players, I would have to remind you what Sugar really wants "I want people to play on the server for as long as possible." I will make a metaphor so people understand what I mean. Sugar is the type of person to use an open-source software instead of a popular adware software, he looks for the more ethical way to do stuff. Sadly that is not how MOST people work, they'd rather use an adware software because the adware spent money on their GUI rather than a shitty GUI of an open-source software that works better. In the same way people might check how ethical TitsRP is and leave because they dislike that people sell money. But if I am projecting myself onto a new player, I would see opportunities instead because it would mean that the currency has value and if the currency has value that should mean there is value in the servers itself and it's activities etc... Majority of people are not like Sugar and they don't give as much brain power thinking about how ethical it is to sell/buy. 4- "It takes revenue away from the server" This is the most legitimate point he made. If selling/buying did affect significantly the revenue he gets to invest in the server, I would have to agree on the ban because not only this is ethical of him but also better for the server. I tried asking him for revenue stats but they were brief and unclear for the purpose I was seeking and because of the supporter rank and other factors that were added after the ban it would be hard to really know, if you do have any more relevant stats Sugar you can post them bellow. There might be a way to implement a new system to sell/buy where the server also profits from but I have no suggestion yet for it. These are the main arguments that Sugar makes. I will be addressing other arguments from other users. From @supermarioben2 : "allowing/supporting the sale of ingame items/money encourages players to seek profits instead of playing the game for enjoyment. If there is money to be made people will be willing to sit and grind for 20+ hours which causes numerous problems, especially with inflation and imbalance" I strongly disagree with this, I know supermarioben2 is the type of person I stated above who rarely base and usually RPs but people who "seek profit" find enjoyment in doing so. DarkRP has no correct way to be played. Some people like to RP for the fun of it some like to RP competitively and make money in the process. You can't force your playstyle onto others like that. "just thought about this, but allowing darkrp to be sold for irl cash can also make raiders be directly stealing someones money making setup..." That's exactly what made basing so entertaining and competitive, that is why in my opinion there was so many people basing/raiding. This is the trill that is lacking right now on the server, losing your entities doesn't mean shit right now. Most of your other points are critiquing how much money people are making while basing, inflation, imbalance etc... But if you refer to the stats of 2018 to 2021 you can see that this ban has arguably done the opposite and inflated it more. Props to @Jewannfor making good arguments in the post. I had similar arguments back then but almost everything said back then was speculation with no data. So I refrained from posting. In conclusion I hope we can try to sort this out and find a common ground to implement something that benefits everyone. I enjoyed selling and it was a hobby of mine. I strongly think the gains outweighs the losses. PS : I have some behind the scene info that the Devs are thinking/working of a system to implement to remove this ban. Hopefully it's true Looking forward for your opinions

  4. I don't necessarily dislike real money transactions in games. Like I said before, the thing that I disliked was the amount of popularity it gained. At some point, it was the meta to do real market transactions. TitsRP is not a huge MMO. It's a lot different when you have 20 people spamming trade chat in Stormwind when your game has 5 million players a month compared to TitsRP that had 10 people spamming adverts when there are 60 players online. You saw people come out of retirement just to sell their money on the server. They didn't even play, they just sat in spawn and spammed their stupid money selling advert. It just seemed gross to have 10 different people spam their darkrp adverts daily, up to 700 times a day. I do try to have this server not be entirely focused on trying to grab your credit card. Go on any other server and the second you spawn you will see things like "Unlock VIP++ Dimond for only $70, click here now" "Click here to purchase 50 million dollars for $10" "Click here to always spawn with a knife". It had that same vibe. I want players to seek out the store on their own, not to have their throats clogged by other players trying to make a quick buck when they clearly had no intention to play. Think about it, why did you join TitsRP? Did you join it because "I bet I can make money on this server" or did you join it because "funny name, im about to say the nword in ooc"? Talking to Zek on this, I did share some profit statistics with him. TitsRP is doing well financially. We can hire developers and pay for expensive servers for this community. By selling DarkRP cash you do run into the risk of lowering profit and lowering player retention (which can be debated). At the end of the day, humans are not predictable and it's hard to pinpoint everyone's motive for playing. But I hear your cry. The people who are in heavy support of this going through are obviously, the people who have the most money. Allowing RMT does give those veteran players a reason to no life the server which inherently increases player count which is all around a good thing. Zek also raised his complaint that a middle man was required in most transactions because of potential scamming. While I am not prepared to lift the ban yet, I do have a plan to satisfy all of your needs, our needs and the safety needs of our players when performing RMT. You will be able to list your DarkRP currency on a special market place that is all routed through the server. This protect you from chargebacks and it helps the player knowing that they will get the money they paid for. Although, this will require a paypal account. So if you do not have one, set one up because you will not be able to perform trades outside of this system as it will be a bannable offense. Here is an example of how a transaction would go: Player A go to the market vendor and purchases a license for x DarkRP Cash to perform RMT (to prevent a flood of people spamming the market) Player A will then enter their paypal email and accept some terms Player A will then be able to list DarkRP cash they have for a price they have in mind. Lets say 20 mil for $10 The listing will then go up for $12.00 and alerts the whole server that Player A just listed 20 mil for $10 Player B will be able to then see that market listing and click buy It will then open a secure checkout page on Player B's screen allowing them to complete the transaction After completing the transaction, Player B will receive his DarkRP cash and player A will receive their $10 while we keep that $2 in fees The few players that disagree with the above and have questions, I would be willing to answer them. Just keep in mind, the above will not change. It will be the only way we allow RMT in TitsRP. Some common questions will be asked and I will answer them now What if I don't have a paypal? Get one What if they don't have a paypal? Get one What if they don't want to pay via paypal? There may be future payment methods down the line. But get a paypal 20% cut? Isn't that a lot? You receive 100% of what you list for "You Receive". Coding the software to manage payments + hosting it is no easy task either. Is the ban lifted RIGHT NOW? No. It will be in a later update. Can I advert my RMT in OOC or Advert? No. Use the Discord for that. It will also announce to all players when making a listing.

  7. So over the past 2 weeks I've won a total of 4 leaderboards, and purchased 6 Tier 3 Lootcrates using a Prestige token. This is 18 Tier 3s total, and out of it, I have gotten a decent amount of crafting items, some bad legendaries and a ton of dogshit items that I sold to the general buyer for next to nothing. Tier 3 Lootcrates really don't feel worth it right now, 90% of the time you open one you will not get anything good out of it, except maybe a few Trishas and SBC cannons and the odd legendary. For an item that you can ONLY get from competing and winning a leaderboard or grinding to level 50, prestiging, and spending your prestige token on 6 of them, they really, really, do not feel worth the time and effort put into them. I've seen more "rare" guns (rare as in enchanted not valuable items/sweps) in Tier 3s than I have legendaries or epics. Now yes, this may all be down to my poor luck, but considering how good they used to be, and how bad they are now, it can not only be me who is noticing a severe lack of value in these crates. Below is a screenshot of my 2nd crate opened from winning 2 of this weeks leaderboards (the first crate had one legendary, an epic, wood, spirit jars and cereal if I remember correctly). I do not see, how this shit, is worth grinding for. This is something you'd think you'd see at the black market/auction house npc after someone's opened 20 tier 2s. What the actual fuck. Please just buff tier 3s man, or lootcrates in general.

  14. Should've never been banned in the first place I think we should let it come back as coba said, if they want to grind all day then let them. People rarely cashed out and mostly sold darkrp and bought sweps with it. This will give players incentive to come back and grow out player base.

  15. When you just died from a player you should not come back immediately to rp with them again. You should definitely wait a couple mins before interacting with them again. I agree with this report and toosi did break nlr. For the future wait a couple mins then continue your rp with that player. But dying and coming back to rp with that person is a no no. If he was killing someone and you seen or something drastic okay. But after dying it's always best to give it a couple mins Accepted Staff member will warn themselves

  16. I've added a feature for the next reset that shows the last time the owner logged in, as well as their total time played. I hope this will help players make smarter purchases and feel more confident that when they buy something it won't be removed tomorrow! (this is connected to the dev database so the dates and times are off, but basically it shows this information & it's color coordinated based on the length of time the players has been inactive)

  18. allow users to purchase custom models/sweps on the titsrp website the user would insert a link of the model/swep they want to add, and the price would be based off of the addon size maybe the website could check the addon page for the size of the addon so it could calculate the price i think this could make the process of adding custom content in general as it's more simple for a user to just go on the website instead of waiting for a superadmin to respond to them

  25. all my homies love tobys diamond sword best item on the server no cap (until mythical fish is dropped amirite). i sat there for a whole 2 hours last night walking around swinging this sword infront of people saying things like hey i have a question, and when they responded with what i would simply swing the sword so they would hear "do you like my sword sword". this was very often followed by question marks and then them leaving. i had no idea why. until i tried it with malicious... this stupid fucking item only could be heard by the guy swinging it. i wasted so fucking long swinging that sword thinking other people could hear it and its just my dumbass that could listen to the song all along. stupid fucking game this suggestion is for toby's diamond sword to be heard by everyone. i dont care how you do it, i dont care if it will take very long, rubik i will give you a large sum of money (in game u aint gettin no irl from me) if you make this possible #justice4tobysdiamondsword also thank you to my 1 subscriber for sticking by me through all these troubles

  27. Tuss really covers all the bases here, but I can think of a few more reasons why this wouldn't work without some serious effort. 1. Some models are just broken. There could be a number of issues with a model, such as shit hitboxes or no hitboxes at all, or weird blood particle issues we've seen in the past. One of the benefits of manually adding each model is that I can keep a timeline of what was added when and this helps a lot in diagnosing / troubleshooting issues / crashes that are caused by a broken model. 2. I could see people possibly making their own models or modifying model hitboxes to provide an unfair advantage. Manually screening models allows me to do some (albeit not always very much due to time constraints) quality control. I've considered moving model requests to a ticket-based system where admins and possibly Smods could review models before they are added but the main issue with this system is the inability for admins to actually upload files to the server or remove files in the event of an issue. Also this goes back to what I said before about the ability to toubleshoot broken models. It's very difficult to figure out what model is causing crashes, especially if we add multiple models per day. A ticket based system probably wouldn't be a bad idea and would help a lot with response times. I get a ton of PMs per day and if I ever don't respond it's possible you PM me at a time when I am on mobile and didn't get the notification, or opened Discord to do something else and it marked you as "read" or something. Just keep PMing me! As for compression, the reason we do this is to reduce the size of the workshop collection and to speed up load times. A lot of models do not NEED to be larger than 256x256 or so. You literally can't tell a difference on most displays. I've considered adding a optional "HD MODELS" workshop pack which you could subscribe to as well which would provide uncompressed models but once it takes you 35 minutes to login you will quickly understand why we do it Also, I want to add that a system like bone requested would not solve the issue of needing to wait for the next reset for your models to be added. Whether it's added automatically or by a superadmin, you would still have to wait for a reset to get your models in. 99.5% of the time, when you buy a model, it is in for the next reset at 6am.

  35. @supermarioben2I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, but... did you even read the main thread? Because I have addressed all of these. "it's the future repercussions that it will have on game balance, the ingame economy, player retention, etc." The reason I made this thread is because we have almost 2 years of data that show the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. Player retention seems to have fallen since the ban, people on this thread are making the remark and I personally see less people play. I got banned in 2018 for 1 year and got unbanned in 2019 and I still recognized most of the players playing, but now in 2021 I rarely see people I know and when I do they are just idling doing nothing. For the economy, again it's in the main thread but I got 2 excel sheets of stats that shows that the economy got WAY WORST after the ban. One reason is because people a hoarding money and when you have 1 bil+ and nothing to spend on, the money wont get deleted from the economy therefor creating inflation. "If a new player plays for a month, buys alot of darkrp cash and has a super op cc, they're less likely to continue playing once they're bored unless they become a staff or something, but that point is kind of irrelevent to the discussion" I will copy paste from the main thread to reply to this : "I would argue the complete opposite, if you want people to play for as long as possible selling/buying is a great way to do it. Not only do new players play more often but the old players play WAY more because it's usually this competitive mind set that makes them play on this server." " I don't think allowing people to sell money will cause a RADICAL CHANGE IN THE META like there will still be like only 3 bases but those 3 bases will still have like 10 full printer racks," You make this statement without evidence. All evidence shows that being in a competitive meta makes for more raiding and not hoarding like it's been happening for the past year. @supermarioben2What are your intentions? I don't understand what you are trying to argue or protect. Clearly if we are talking about player retention, competitive players stay longer than RPers like yourself. This thread in itself shows it by it's majority support.

  36. @supermarioben2 as much as I like you, you keep bringing the same arguments even after people replied to them. Example : You keep saying "so unless you want titsrp to turn into FPS runescape than I don't think we should encourage it." or something similar to this. I addressed it 2 times, but it will NOT "turn" the whole playstyle to competitive, it will CREATE new playstyle. It will not destroy YOUR playstyle, or if it did you should of brought arguments to prove this point. But if it isn't affecting you (except the advert which I don't think is a big deal) Please refrain from using this argument and progress the discussion.
