By asking them for their age lol. If I report a player bc they sound underage, and a mod asks them how old they are and they say 13 but I KNOW they’re younger, there’s nothing we can do to stop them from playing

Admins cannot control what players do and how players act. You can join the server, call a bunch of players slurs and pedophiles, and the only thing mods can do is ban you. Implementing a age verification system is simply not possible

I also want to point out that steam does not age verify using photo ID, they ask you for your birthday and trust you answer honestly. So really it’s not the servers fault, not even gmod itself, it’s steam for allowing underage players

There is no rule stating we can’t have political discussions, just as long as they remain civil This would be the parents responsibility to allow their children to play games like this btw. Political debates are not inherently wrong, also the offensive topics you listed, half of them are not allowed by default. Not enforceable in a way you think it is. We can’t age verify people w ID’s, so if a player gets reported for “ sounding underage “ we have to investigate and ask them how old they are and only trust their honesty, it’s not our fault if a 10 year old lies and says they’re 13. Religion is not a 18+ thing? I grew up in the Bible Belt of America and I still hold my Christian values today, but then even it’s still up to the parents to monitor the child’s activity online.
