Not only we're you a senior moderator you also lied alot during this entire situation mainly about the reason why you were permanently banned from the server but even after the ban you were going into dms being toxic. I do not in any way, shape, or form condone what you did or try to justify it, I just think at the end of the day this whole situation was a clear case of the tism and could have been completely avoided. I don't see how a comm removal vs 6mo is going to make any difference so I'm +1 for reducing your ban to 6mo + time served. It's no argument that what you said is not appropriate in any way. However, my gut feeling is that you can be a good fit for the community. I've known you for quite some time, and albeit you do have what Rubik calls the "tisms", we all do. We are all human and make mistakes. Sometimes we get stressed out in the heat of the moment, and things go south. Our failures allow us to grow and mature, and Brisky has shown that she has accepted what she has done was wrong. I ask before I make any vote. What do you plan to do back in our community? In your eyes, will accepting your appeal be a good move for the community? Why? What bri said was wrong and disgusting even if it was meant as a way to get banned. We can all tell that she wasn't thinking at all for doing this. This is her first time ever doing something like this and i doubt she will do this again. this would have been a 6 month anyway if it wasn't for everything else she did after it. I dont condone anyone to do what she did for the ban and after. A 2nd chance can always happen, and if we really need to we can also put her on probation if and when she gets unbanned. There have been very few things that I've dropped my persona for, this incident with brisky being one of them. I noticed in game and in the discord that there was a lot of harassment towards ironfish from brisky and her goons. It got to the point where I reported her to four smods at the time and then shortly after she was comm removed. I then was attending a community meeting and kdawg talked about how the community was outraged at ironfish and he would be getting demoted if he didn't see the opposite of that. I went on stage and asked people to spam a "W" in chat if ironfish is great. Every single person in attendance proceeded to do that. You caused so much trouble and drama for everyone that even the owners of the server thought EVERYONE hated ironfish, when it was the opposite. Lean Posted December 28, 2023 Share Posted December 28, 2023 I for on have been perma banned 4 times for many different reasons and been involved in drama and been on the other side of the ban and fighting to come back. Its a rough time and takes alot to come back and say that you have changed and apologize to the people you hurt. Everyone makes mistakes we are human its important to learn from our mistakes though and alot of people cant comprehend that someone can change and alot of people dont know what it feels like to be the one on the other side of the ban and trying to come back. as far as hyders comment goes I dont think any staff is defending pedophilic comments at all, but alot of people are defending brisky for making a mistake and supporting that change can be made. I am a big +1 for an unban and I think everyone else should put themselves in briskys shoes and think about a time they fucked up the worst and lost something that meant alot to them or even if you didnt lose seomthing close to you imagine if you did.
