You are wasting your valuable time on this earth. Spoiler Can you just unban this guy and if he causes any issues reban him? its not much effort and he doesnt seem very smart with the clumsy hiding of evidence (privating old youtube vids) so if hes trying some shit you would be able to spot it from a mile away. 2 scenarios can happen: 1. He is unbanned and cannot handle the struggle of being someone who he is not and does some dumb shit -> instantly rebanned 2. Jewann Posted January 6 Share Posted January 6 I'll keep it short. I am +1 for unban because I always have been. You did cause player/staff complaints at the time of your ban. We gave the whole staff team the chance to put your actions under maximum scrutiny for over a week, and submit any evidence to the admins. 1 video of you maybe arguably (not really) RDAing 1 person was submitted total. Admins 4 out of 5 admins decided you did not need to be permabanned. smods decided they didnt like you, and making a point of banning you would help give them more power at the time. They heavily pressured the one admin to permaban you. You were permabanned overnight with little staff discussion. The admins convinced the last admin, and decided to reduce your ban to a month. Smods went ballistic, threatening to resign/made it clear there would be problems if you were not permabanned. Admins caved to avoid the collapse of the entire staff team You were permabanned with little to no evidence in a manner which was unfair comlared to the evidence present in all similar bans. If you truly caused problems every day, it should have been easy to gather relevant evidence within the 1 week we gave staff. If you are someone who constantly causes problems, the people against you should see it as an opportunity to gather evidence, and if they cannot find any, they should admit that you should not be banned. Thank you @LeGerbsfor admitting some faults of the smod's past actions as you were an smod at the time, and bringing up that this user was pretty much banned due to an admin vs smod conflict not entirely relevant to him. I do not believe the current staff team should uphold a ban from the past which went against a lot of staff guidelines, and broke the fairness toward users we try to uphold as staff. Of course thank you for reminding me who this player was. I completely confused him for someone else. Like I said I still am not for him being unbanned, but I don't really care either way. He presented himself pretty negatively in this appeal in the face of adversity. With that said I apologize if I caused a shit storm with my replies. I have since deleted them and retract my old statements. To all of those I may have offended I apologize whether I like you as a person or not you are keeping a server that I and many others love alive. I don't play anymore as life gets in the way but thank you. This community has been a part of mine and many others for years. If this dude really is a shitter he won't last long anyways lmao. From this point, you will be treated as any other player. If you follow rules, you will have nothing to worry about. If you break rules and cause issues for staff and our community through rule-break, you will be punished through our guidelines. Thank you for everyone who commented your opinions on the matter. We took into account every single opinion, and decided on what was best moving forward. It's great to see a community come together and discuss their thoughts, each and every one of you.
