"Player Toxicity" Section.

I did some research and came up with multiple results:
1) After checking the bans page, Their has never been an instance in which a player receives a permanent ban for toxicity unless it was repetitive. My record is clean and so is my warns in this regard.
2) This section states that this offense is to result in a warn first offense, then translate into ban time (Maxing out at three days at most). I have no warns of this offense.

Furthermore, This is the defined reasons as "Player Toxicity": Vulgar language, Racism, or inappropriate / sexual comments, Personal attacks.

I do not ever recall personally attacking a user or slighting someone based on their color. Nor do my comments escalate to a sexual nature. As far as I know I was only disliked for my poor attitude (which is debatable, as some users who had this opinion later changed their mind and reconciled, So this seems to be a subjective matter), Regardless I don't think people's outspoken dislike of me qualifies in this section. People disliking you doesn't qualify as "Toxicity" and I can name more than one instance of people slighting me for things outside my character.

This is slightly off the point, But i had a user within this community find me on another community and openly made fun of my ban and clearly disliked me. Despite that he said verbatim: "I do not know why they perma'd you outright."

All in all, I don't have the record for this ban to stand. I also never got a genuine warning about this. I've been told to tone done my sits (I come from a different community in which this is standard) In which i conceded and tried to implement. However I have never been warned officially about my behavior and receiving a permanent ban despite no record/no previous statement or given a view on what is considered "toxic" here is rather absurd.

I move to strike the ban on the basis that this was done incorrectly based on the viewable protocols. If Lewdtastic really had an issue. He should talk to me personally. I have never turned down a discussion and simply refused to listen as I'm sure many staff here would agree, albeit i might be stubborn I do not refuse to listen, and I give my reasoning's always.

After further review I will have to say -1 because personally with the way you are and how you handle things also the fact pretty much half the community wanted you gone I can’t with a good mind allow you back in this community

Here is where your problem stemmed Haze. The fact that you had made 2 of our staff members quit including an admin from the amount of grief you caused them and our mod team. 

 

The biggest issue is when you would call sits over every tiny thing that would happen to you. You would harass and demean our staff members and demand that it be your way no matter what the staff member said. This caused a lot of our newer players that had sits called on them to quit entirely. You would make reports on any staff member if you didn't agree with a verbal warning they gave which gave a really bad look on your side. There was an entire post from our community members calling for your permanent ban and some of them stopped playing entirely because of your actions. In our minds us getting rid of 1 player who has caused many others to quit is worth doing. I would rather see one player get removed than see 20 new players and 2 staff members quit because of your attitude/actions. 

 

You were warned by one of our S-Mods Jay that you cannot keep this behavior going and you shewed him off and blocked him like it meant nothing.

 

You seriously cannot own up to any of your actions and immediately go to "Well the rules say I can do this so I shouldn't be banned right now" instead of realizing that bans like these can be up to staff discretion. Right now I suggest you change your attitude start acting like a decent human being and make an actual appeal with you apologizing.

I tried to help you before your ban haze, with this SPECIFIC message 

 

You then said underneath "didnt ask for your opinion and didnt read". Then proceeded to block me on discord and went about your day, we gave you PLENTY of opportunities and honestly in my opinion, we gave you too much time too.

 

I am 100% not in favor of your return, you caused nothing but problems with our community, as gerbs said, on forums and ingame. Since your ban, there has been a chill pace of playing without people getting dragged into sits about things you dont agree with that are in the MOTD. This whole situation leading upto your ban was entirely your actions, and also as gerbs stated, you made players quit and 2 staff members quit, 1 of them was an admin, that is how toxic and disrespectful towards our staff and community members.

hey mate i remember having three staffs members try to discuss with you how your actions on the server were not only rude but creating issues in the game, you then proceeded to just deflect and deflect, so im really not sure how you could perceive yourself as not getting warnings and your actions ultimately becoming repetitive???

just because you weren't given a solid warning through the warn system doesn't mean you weren't given chances, we even had a staff member message you on discord and you responded saying something pathetic like don't care didn't read or something and then blocking him.  

 

to be honest mate you have been given chances, we tried to sort you out so that you would work with our community and you just did what you always did, deflect and deflect.

Now personally I was only around when there was two things you did, granted I thought you were just another player that is just like everyone else that wants to be annoying, but little did I know it was 10x worse by the amount of sheer toxicity and grief towards the players of the community as well as staff members, it became worse and worse and personally I think you should stay banned but potentially be banned in the future but as of now you were banned little over 2 weeks I believe and I don't think you have earned any reason to be unbanned. I would understand some toxicity considering it is Garrys Mod, but you took toxicity and hostility to another level. Maybe in a few months you could be unbanned but I don't think so right now. -1

At first I was hoping to see you own up to your actions , but it appears you refuse to admit that you did anything wrong. You made it hell for staff members, myself included . When sits didn't go your way , you instantly made a forums report about the staff member who took your sit. In addition to this, you would constantly argue with staff members about our decisions.  To me personally it seemed like your only intention was to get players in trouble .  You claim you received no warning for your actions, but that is a lie .  I remember pulling you into a sit with Jeff and other staff members to talk to you about your behavior and nothing changed.  The fact that you have a -118 community rep should tell you something.  For me this is a fat -1 .  You not owning up to your actions tell me that you have no intention of changing your behavior on the server.  I was really hoping to see an apology or anything showing that you had changed your behavior.

You do not deserve to be perma banned for toxicity straight away. Nobody has ever been banned instantly for that especially with your record being clean. If you continue to keep being toxic towards players and staff at some point this will lead to a perma ban.   I do not feel you have been treated fairly and given the right punishment.

We were told to post our opinions on the forums even though this has been accepted and locked.

 

The fact this was accepted with two pages of -1 votes for the reason of “we talked about it” isn’t cool. The entire staff team has been subjected to abuse from Haze and when something was FINALLY done about it once someone decided to have a backbone, it is being overturned.

 

Lewd made the CORRECT decision to remove haze from this server. It is clear that his above all attitude is still present and has not/will not change that and there was no apology directed at everyone he has wronged in the time he is here. It doesn’t matter how other people were handled, Haze is a very specific instance and he earned every piece of that perm ban.

 

Having all these -1s disregarded and a decision made because two people agreed to reduce it to 30 days is a big slap in the face to the Smods and Mods. What is the point of staff replying to appeals then? It’s the way it has always worked and today, with the most toxic and abusive person I’ve had the great pleasure of dealing with, it changed. The entire staff team stands behind this perm ban minus the two people who agreed on an unban.

 

You stood up for the staff team with the perm ban, don’t stand up for someone who brings nothing to this server and reduce it.
