At the beginning of 2021 I had just moved across the country and was having a hard time adjusting to my new life.  Before this time I was already abusing drugs and alcohol so as u can imagine being alone across the country did not help any of my existing problems. Every day I would get drunk go to work and come home and play on tits. This routine of getting fucked up and playing video games began to take a tole on my mental health. Reality became distorted and I began to become more distant with my IRL friends. My life truly revolved around getting drunk and playing video games. Than one night (cant remember the date) I was drunk and on drugs playing tits rp as I would have been any other night, when I decided to say something so stupid in chat that it changed my life.  I said "Trading cc for cp", looking back I can see how stupid this was to say but at the time I couldn't see it. I thought about it as making a joke to all my friends in the server but in reality what i said was not funny and there are people on the server that don't know me so they wouldn't know its a joke. Before this ban i had been playing on tits since 2015 without ever receiving a ban. Looking back on this ban a year later I can see the positive change this caused in my life. On my first ban appeal a staff member said "take this time off to reflect on your life" and unknowingly this actually happened. This ban caused me to get out of my new house and start meeting people in my new area. After a few weeks of going out and meeting new people i began to cut back on the drinking and stopped taking the hard drugs that have killed so many of my friends and had caused my declining mental status in the first place. I understand that what I said was not funny and really disturbing. But i was also disturbed and made an awful choice and learned my lesson. I am not trying to defend what i did rather apologize for it and asking for forgiveness.

I will be pasting his previous ban appeals below for ease of access to the rest of the staff viewing this appeal. This player is one of only seven people i have blocked on discord, and I was heavily -1 for him to have a chance at appealing at the time of his ban. That said, it has been nearly a year since his ban, he has been a member of the communuty for the past 6 years, and he seems to be taking legitamite steps towards getting his life back together. I am much more willing to give him a chance at this time, and am neutral leaning +1 on this appeal.

You waited a fair bit amount of time between each appeal, you really seem to be honest about changing, this appeal seems more sincere than your one in august and obviously as you know, what you said was fucked up and that will never be acceptable. But I do see more sincerity in this appeal and I believe after this long since your ban, you deserve another shot. Obviously anything major done by you again in the future will set you back to square one, thats just common sense.

 

I will be +1 on this appeal.

I personally find the comment disgusting and even under the influence or narcotics or alcohol shouldn’t be an excuse for anyone to think that what you said is even remotely okay.

 

For the moment I will be going +1 until other staff reply and make my decision vicariously. 
 

I feel like you do deserve a second chance but I think you should heavily monitored for any sort of joke/kind of issue that’s similar.

so looking at this appeal i would like to bring all 3 into my decision

 

Appeal #1 honestly looks like it was an attempt with no effort to attempt to be unbanned and i didn't feel even a shred of sincerity in that appeal. it looked like it was just "hey unban me because i was joking about a federal crime" also lying was involved in that appeal about the true nature of what you got banned for. this appeal was denied

 

Appeal #2 was made 8 full months later in august. and it seemed to have a little more effort put into it. it seemed to be less of looking for a reason to be unbanned and more of a apology for how you acted in your past appeals and your unban attempt. you did acknowledge what you did and even accepted that it should not be used in a game. this appeal was definitely  a step in the right direction in terms of really being honest with everyone on the staff team and showing why you think you can come back to the community,  this appeal was denied but wasn't as harsh as the first one. 

 

Appeal #3. (Current) again this appeal is a step in the right direction, yes what you said in game was WAAAAAY beyond okay and warranted your removal and a ban from our community, but this time around this appeal Feels like a genuine attempt at laying all your cards on the table explaining where your life was at that point and what you have done to better yourself and prove that you are ready to rejoin the community. I feel like it would be worth at least giving you one final chance at coming back to the community now that you know the severity  of punishments that can come from saying things like you did. I am hoping it is a lesson learned that will hopefully not repeat itself because if this final chance is squandered I doubt you will get any more chances to come back to this community

I was not impressed by your previous appeals, but this one seems very sincere and from what you've said you really regret what you did.

What you said was pretty fucked up to be honest, so I really hope that if you are allowed back this type of behavior won't continue.

You've admitted what you did was wrong & are very apologetic, for this reasons I think I can agree with giving you one (last) chance.

We wouldn't allow anything like that being said on our server, as you should know by now. Even if you intoxicated or something like that, it still doesn't cover up the fact that you still went out of your way and said what you said. Looking over this appeal and your past two, it does seem that you are a lot more sincere in this one and took your time to really think about what you have done. For me, I never had an issue on the server before you got this ban, so don't do this again. I hope you learn from your mistakes this time. +1
