Why were you banned or warned?

Prop abuse (Placing props during raid| Thomas Train)

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I was told by Ironfish1 that the summoning of a train both starts and stops a raid allowing you to place a dupe during the train. As in the rules stated the train is not supposed to be used for raiding purposes and I was told this was allowed. In the sit the staff member Larry Cake also known as Aeolous now gave me the note/verbal after speaking with Mav/Shoebill. I was told to post an appeal as a discussion have occurred about this rule as it was a gray area rule and different opinions were being tossed around.

Who warned/banned you?

Larry Cake/Aeolus

How long were you warned or banned for?

Warning

Hey, while I'm not related to this scenario I have useful information to provide. I asked an admin a few months ago about this and he said it was perfectly allowed, as the raid starts, and then ends within the same second that the train is spawned, allowing you to remove/place ur dupe -- as it is a natural event and only considered a raid so that picolas cage is put on a timer the moment he summons the train to prevent him swapping jobs and doing further raid actions.

I don't see why this shouldnt be allowed, as the raid both starts and ends the instant the train is spawned, so there is no raid, and since picolas cage can't raid anyways there is no ongoing raid preventing him fromย removing his dupe. (opinion shared by me/community and other admins of the past)

If staff want to hide this feel free to but it should be something seen and read by staff members so please read ! ! ! !

ย  ย  Thank you for the context Tene! I think since you're giving very valuable insight this should be allowed to stay up. I personally completely agree with Crabroll here. When I was first asked about this situation I saw zero problem with a dupe being placed to stop a train from damaging ents. The train signifies a start and immediate end of the raid for Picolas Cage. I'm a +1 for a removal of the addnote.

Hey Silver, coincidentally enough I asked Coconut about this last night when questions were raised and I was told that its going to be a discussion among the admins.ย

ย

However, since you were warned prior to that and it is a grey area with no definitive answer, it wouldn't be fair to punish anyone for a rule that not even admins currently know the answer to.

+1 for removal

I agree with Ironfish I see no reason why you shouldnโ€™t be able to use props/dupes to prevent a Thomas from exploding and blowing up entities, especially if it was summoned onto you. (But I wonder if this will change with the grenades๐Ÿค”) Anyways I amย +1 for the warn removal!

If this is disallowed, I can easily see people working around this by placing props anytime before a raid and activating them with fading doors instead. People simply don't want their hard work and entities blown up with a gimmick. Regardless, since the ruling is unclear and undecided I'm +1 for removing the note

Spawning a thomas train on someone as picolas cage does not mean that a raid has started, so you can just delete and paste any dupe thatย you want in order to protect your stuff from said thomas train so long as it was spawned by picolas cage and it wasnt a thomas grenade

+1 for note removal
