  1. Hello i think that having a rule against body blocking should not be a thing because there is rp that can be done while body blocking (example: cops having holstered weapons blocking pd in order to weapon check). I also think that body blocking can literally just easily be dealt with in rp by warning then killing the person, no need for a rule nor sits to happen

  2. Printers say they make 4095 per 50 seconds, but in reality they make 4094 per 60 which is 245,640 per hour. printer upgrades cost 3500+700+1400+2100+2800+3500+1500+2000+2000+6000+8000+10000+12000+14000+16000=85,500 (85500/4094 = 20.844) which means it takes about 21 minutes minimum to recoup the cost of just spawning a single printer. (this is no easy task for newer players, nerfing them would only increase this time, and decrease their value to newer players.) Keep in mind, new players do not even spawn with enough money to fully upgrade the new printers. this is also not taking into account the cost of the racks which anyone in a bigger base will be using, which is 2000+2500+(5000)+3000+2500+3000+5000 = 23000 each printer rack holds 8 printers, so at max efficiency, the additional cost per printer is 23,000/8 = 2875 which brings the total cost per printer to 88,375, which isn't a huge increase, but the 5000 is in parenthesis because that is a failsafe which is a recurring purchase. The other recurring purchase that must be made is batteries which is 5k per printer. this all makes the true equation for max printers money made 245,640*hours-88,375-5000*(failsafe replacements)-5000*(battery recharges) all with the risk of being raided and losing it all being always present. just to compare, the approximate equation for processors using proc tokens, 313,000*hours-1,000,000 (proc token price) - chems (between 5k and 8k each) in this context, given that processors have been the main method of making money for a very long time, I believe that printers provide the healthy alternative that we have been lacking. Printers make less money each than processors, but require more maintenance. Now, it is true that people can spawn two printers, so they can make more money overall, but it is harder to get a large amount of printers, due to what I believe is the most important force keeping printers balanced. There are no printer tokens. You can easily start the day basing with many procs if you save up proc tokens, but you can only ever start a day with 2 printers. All in all, I do not see a need for printers need to be nerfed.

  3. before this was added into the MOTD, it was never a problem until a group of people MADE it a problem. now that this is in the MOTD, i now see a lot of pointless situations potentially happening and its just gonna result in a whole lot of issues, i personally don't think it shoulda been labled in MOTD, as it was an issue 1 time and then added to MOTD, seems like a rushed idea

  4. Currently the SK job is pretty lackluster and literally just a better cultist with some negative effects applied. (slowing down) In order to make the job an actual job where you get to be a serial killer, there are some changes I think should be made. 1. Remove the normal kidnapping bludgeon and replace it with a syringe like with drugs. Have the effect be instant KO like the current bludgeon but you can hit anywhere like with cuffs. Keep the slowdown effect but have a cap so that you don't end up literally frozen, which is very stupid, 2. Remove the 2 hour cool down per person and replace it with a 10 minute cool down per kidnap. This lets lowpop servers still have plenty of options. 3. Allow users to randomly kill ANYONE they choose - essentially valid RDM, and have it count torwards the kidnap timer so you cant mess with the cooldown. 4. Add the slowdown effect for anyone looking at the SK after they kill someone for a certain amount of time to balance out the random killing. In order to commit a murder without getting caught you should do it away from prying eyes. 5. Add a chair that forces ragdoll'd kidnap victims to wake up in and cant escape from, but can suicide once they reach their timer. 6. Lower the kidnap time, it's ridiculously long. Half that shit. 7. Give increased XP and increased prison time per kill, increasing the risk and reward the more kills you get without getting caught. This allows more playstyles for the SK job, and gives it a bit more depth to what you can do. Want to be a creepy serial killer who micspams food chewing asmr while you slowly kill your victim with a spoon? Go for it. Want to go on a murder spree till you get caught in a jack the ripper-esque manner? Go for it. Choose how you want to serial kill.

  5. Use tokens to spawn in mini printers. Regular printers are limited to 2 per user I think but you can buy printers from other people.

  6. Then don't make your dupes so hard to get into to

  7. Stealing printers and taking them to your base is rp so it would still be failrp

  8. That's all the cultists do too tho tbh SK should be a serial killer, essentially terrorist without the 5 min announcement and wait to start attacking along with blues other suggestions SK is shit rn imo and the reason SK has to kidnap and all that BS instead of just murdering of cause of the idiots who will think its RDM and not an SK murder

  9. btw they were all in a party so if you killed/warned one 3 others would party bind and kill you

  10. I understand the situation, I had a full (haha funny) discussion with someone that was participating. But people could def just warn bind the bodyblockers instead of having to make a sit! And it was the first time something like that happened in a good amount of time! Just don't quite understand the instant making of the rule, but who knows! Rubik does know best

  11. I don't think this needs to be a rule, this would def add unnecessary sits + like blue said, its common sense !

  12. It's almost like this is common sense...

  13. Bodyblocking in an abusive manner like in recent talk is so rare that it shouldn't ruin all the other valid rp (funny!) reasons for body blocking. It can easily be dealt with in rp.

  14. I see no problem with the rule

  15. I agree, if you aren't literally being chased into your base/your parties base you should be able to undo and redo dupes to make it easier to get things in.

  16. I suggest that printers are nerfed a decent amount as they are now super op. about 4k every 50 seconds when maxed? Really? They will earn you over 80k in 10 minutes with your printers alone not to mention if you get more. At this point they will crash the economy. Last night i was on and someone was getting over 1m every 10 minutes. This will get a lot of negative feedback but it is an issue that someone needs to adress. P.S. Think of people who have guns with a 10% more money from printer collections enchant and it is more broken...
