Tuckle is warned for FailRP as Terrry says "MRDM is ok when no one is looking" WHAT?

Recommended Posts

Let’s not make this post 100 pages long, say what you need to say then left staff give opinions on situation. No fighting or bringing up stuff that have nothing to do with this report.

thank you have a great night

"serial rule breaker" - Tene

I only have 1 verbal warning prior? I've read the motd and follow the rules.😂

idk ur clip showed u were skybasing as non-preacher for 2 hours and then this guy said it had been days of you doing it. dont take it too serious was just surprising that you had been breaking this rule thats been known for a while and is written in motd for as long as u did.

didn't you try to dox me a few days ago? You jumping immediately on this post to defend your Papa Terrry and to interact with me is a yikes.

defending terry because i made the sit and you are claiming he did it entirely out of bias, whilst also having your biased staff friends reply to this with no logic or reading comprehension to +1 it on autopilot, disreguarding that what ironfish says goes against your entire defense..

This is because you sent the evidence of Frisco being romantically interested in you and i said wait is that it?
The evidence btw is

I'm not sure how I am trying to doxx you here, you REQUESTED the images that are publically available of you online when searching your ingame username on google, and I sent them to YOU, as they are photos of YOURSELF. Doxxing would be me going around sending these photos to people without your permission right, telling them that its you? idk how i was trying to doxx, if i wanted to leak the photos they wouldve already been leaked, but i dont care about you nor am i malicious enough to want to doxx someone (i have been victim of doxxing before). I can assure you i am not trying or going to doxx you, and its a crazy thing to bring up with no context on a warn appeal for an unrelated circumstance.

searching your STEAMID comes up with multiple websites with your images attached, some even have them with CUSTOM BANNERS that have to be SETUP by the individual, with your photo on them. /shrug

you ignored 1. Why?

I had already answered it previously

I could not make point 2 any clearer. People can still be harmed even if it isn't reported. Especially if a staff member is witnessing it. But they won't intervene because it's technically not reported. That is my whole point. I'm trying to show that your line of logic and rule set is inconsistent and shaky at best. I'd recommend you edit the rules considering I'm not the only one who has issue with this whole "oh if it's not reported" bullshit.

I've never seen someone have issues with this in the past, if they had a rule broken against them and wanted it punished they could have just reported instead of going "too bad a mod didnt warn this player for me despite me not making a report."

Aside from that, if we just start warning every RDM we see, even when friends RDM each other then people would take issue, I can guarantee this. If you don't report someone for something that is only affecting you we have no reason to step in, but saying something in OOC especially harmful and inflammatory comments affects all players on the server. If I do see someone RDAing I will grab them and tell them to not RDA, and what RDA means if they dont know, but I wont warn them unless a report has been made. Same with every other rule on the server that works like this.

I don't really see any issue with people having fun and building wacky bases around the map but they should be flagged as public if it's going to be in an area that would require special tools to raid or could provide an unfair advantage. Using your base as an example, it's not clear where the bounds of your base is. This is necessary to avoid NLR and to assist staff in case a report is called. We can't enforce rules where there are no clear bounds to what belongs to you and what doesn't such as a normal base. Also this doesn't necessarily apply to your base but for example some rooftop bases you can't reach without a jump swep. This could provide an unfair RP advantage over the raider if they are not equipped with a jump swep / custom class. If you want to base up there you should make it public so that it's clear that there are no entities inside. I hope this explains the reasoning behind this rule. ❤️

every time I get on she does have a public base sign up and she has it pretty well made to be able to see where the borders are in case we do need to do an RDM report which I personally have taken there before. I just wanted to let you know that every time I get on she does have a public base sign up

Understood! I will make what is the base more clear via signs and re-make the entrance.

The base in question is widely know by the player base and the staff to always be public. There a min of two signs saying so. Both at the start of the ramp and in the base.

Why Tene had an issue with a base like this is beyond me.

If that sign is present on this base at the time then I don't see any reason why this warn should stick. The way I think about it is this: you have two types of public bases - one has some sort of RP function or in the case of hobo, to intentionally be a nuisance (i.e. building complete garbage directly on the sidewalk where people walk). In that case where it's a part of the job's functionality, it would be necessary for you to actually be that job. The other type of public base is something like this that is mainly used for chillin' and does not provide any RP experience. Another example would be something like the Skid Row experience. There is clearly a lot of good times & fun being had here and if it's out of the way and not interrupting anyone's roleplay, I don't see any issue with you building these types of bases as a custom class or whatever you want to do. It's important to draw the distinction between these two types of public bases because we don't want to discourage players from making experiences like this on the server just because they are not the right job. Obviously everything I said depends entirely on this being properly marked as a PUBLIC base.

what is the point of the preacher job if a CC can do the 1 thing that the job was specifically made and designed for?

  • You cannot have a sky-base unless you are playing Preacher. Building on rooftops that are not explicitly part of the base do count as sky-bases.

If we recognize that there are different types of public bases then it just makes sense. Someone AFKing in a chill / hangout base listening to music should not tie up a RP job from someone that is actually trying to roleplay. That wouldn't make much sense. Rather let's understand the difference between a skybase and a base in the sky. One thing I've seen preachers do is create a "heaven" in the sky to heal people. That's cool, but you wouldn't want a blackmarket dealer, weapon modifier, and a meth cook up there too, all cluttering up the map. I don't think it's necessary for someone to tie up an RP job with 1 slot to hangout with friends for 2 hours. It just makes more sense that we could allow certain types of hangout / non-rp bases and leave those jobs open to players who actually want to use them.

If you go by the book, yes, this warn is valid, however there have been many times I have based in public or on the skywalk not as a hobo and no one has had an issue with it because I'm not disturbing anyone.
