Guest Posted November 27, 2022 Share Posted November 27, 2022 In-Game Name b3nz Your Steam ID STEAM_0:1:225582669 Why were you banned or warned? i was banned for suggesting to user Biggie Bear my opinions over the OOC, one of them being the suggestion he ends it all. consecutively, i asked him if he had been molested or bullied at a young age as i deemed the question appropriate to understand the specimen's true character. i had to understand what makes him this way. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? i believe my ban should be reduced or i should be unbanned and take a warn all together because there are options in-game he could've used before coming to the forums... there are buttons in-game to mute a user, mute the ooc, and even MUTE MY VOICE! it's crazy all the tools titsrpville has to prevent this stuff so people WONT have to make these forum reports! lets say he just didnt want to use the tools provided in-game, which was the case, why should i get a ban over something that happened a week ago and also whenever the staff decided to all come back from LOA's... all moderators in question supporting the report were not there to actually see anything other than what the pilgrim posted. i cannot make myself any clearer... are the words i speak online pungent? or are the readers too feeble? What could've been a sarcastic remark or a meaningfull remark or basically anything written can and most likely will be read wrong. I can say in ooc "kill me!" and someone will kill me when reality "kill me" was said as a remark because i am embarressed or something. As for what exactly was said I dont know all the details but there is a mute option. A 7 day ban is a rediculous punishment for words. I hear the most horrific things everytime I log on the server, stuff worse than this and they dont get banned. I can see a kick being justified or a warning but not a ban. You know that ain't allowed. the suggestion of ending his life was a bit inelegant. granting all this, lets be realistic. if this had been taken to a sit, i most likely would've been just warned, told to stay away, and concluded with the situation and moved on. he took no action against the 2 scenarios that live in his head that btw happened in the span of a couple minutes & he called it "harassment". i really think people should be using these great tools the developers add in, like muting players and the OOC, as i bet this seems really a waste of time for everyone here to be deliberating about who said what and who's feelings are hurt. reconsider this set of values you bring me... how many people in your life will you meet that are not cordial to you? with those numbers in mind, how many will you single-handledly punish for saying things you don't like? are u gonna call the police because someone told you to expire? will you tell someone who tells you to kill yourself irl to go on timeout for a week? they would not take you seriously dawg. all it takes is walking away. it cannot be serious. sometimes, you just need to be stronger, act smarter, faster. if he had taken the right steps and he felt as threatened as he implies he is, he would've used the tools at hand and moved on with his life without having to hear me ever again... Player X is being racist, slandering them, degrading them. Player Y reports Player Xwith evidence: 1+ week ban. If ban time is unclear, contact Smod+ previous offenses should increase the ban.) The mute button isn't a get out of jail free card. Remember when you were coming to staff because bone was "harassing" you and queso? Why didn't you just mute and block then? This is a video game, it isn't real life. Asking someone in real life if they got molested would probably result in a timeout for a week...in the hospital lol. I don't see why it's so hard to just yknow....not say stupid shit like this and just mind your own. You went out of your way to be a dick for no reason and say some fucked up shit with seemingly 0 precedence leading up to it.
