Idol Posted June 19, 2022 Share Posted June 19, 2022 In-Game Name idol Your Steam ID Idolthe19 Why were you banned or warned? prop block Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? i should get unban because i was told i could do it it was a prop i could walk into and brake when i found out you could not when there was a bunch all at one spot so i spaced them out and moved out of spawn i was told it was ok by (Insurance Agent) a mod i was told i could do it all i know was you could walk into it and brake it and if that did not work you could shoot it and it will break with one bullet so i am sorry for doing it i will never do it again. Who warned/banned you? Rubik? Rubik Posted June 19, 2022 Share Posted June 19, 2022 General Prop Abuse(Prop Abuse) Can be anywhere from a verbal warning to a ban. This includes but is not limited to prop Blocking/Flying/Spamming. Building in a place you do not own to give yourself any form of advantage is a warn or ban. If involved in a raid this could be considered exploiting and can result in up to a 30 day ban. If prop spam causes lag then it can be considered "Crashing Server" & is a permanent ban. Seeing how it was quite clear that you used this to antagonize others and just made it a huge nuisance for new players, thats why I had an issue with it in the first place. With that being said, yes, Insurance Agent did say it was ok, but judging from how you both interacted with each other, its quite clear you both are on good terms with each other, which makes me think it was more or less a biased ruling to make it allowed (which is why I dont see how Insurance Agent doesnt get punished, yet Idol does) I sat there and witnessed firsthand what you were doing. I saw brand new players to the server walk into the tunnel, see the props, and just go the other way because they assume that its propblocked. Like I stated, yes, it is breakable. ONLY if there is 1 prop, but you stacked up multiple to each other so that it wasnt breakable. Not to mention how I heard you say in voice chat something on the lines of "Ive been doing it for a while, people get really pissed at it sometimes too". Like I said in my last post, it just seems like a rationalization to be an asshole to the server. With all this being said, I doubt Idol will do it again or anything resembling it, ive had PLENTY of bad interactions in the short amount of time that I have seen Idol, but I have barely ever seen him do things that are damaging to the general population of the server, so I am in favor of an unban. At the end of the day, were all here to have fun on the server, its foolish to keep you away from that fun over something thats not even completely your fault. +1 to unban Idol (replace with a warning) +1 for punishment for Insurance Agent, seeing how he allowed a clearly antagonizing activity. I'm +1 for the fact that he lied to you about the rule. I'd rather you have this switched to a warn for "prop blocking" than the ban imo. Some punishment is still required as it was against the rules.
