if you accept the appeal, you lock him to an identity and e-peen he has to maintain and through that you can monitor and ultimately control his behavior. if this person is the internet psychopath you all claim he is, what's stopping him from going completely joker mode if the appeal gets denied? if you let him return to the server you can at least exercise some degree of control over his actions and make an objective judgement on his character. if he's an evil bastard you just ban him again.

 

unfortunately there is no good way to stop problem players from alting ad infinitum. it is a zero sum game. it seems like a lot of people just want the ego boost of getting this morons appeal denied.

 

i'm not saying you should let people hold the server hostage with their actions, but you have to acknowledge that titsrp is a community that for many years fostered and encouraged players like this to grow. at this point someone has to step up and address the problem head on by dealing with the person that you helped create.

Yeah bro lmao. 100% we should totally just unban this guy right now because if we don't he will go right back to his old ways and keep breaking rules and not be so nice about it. It's also 100% our fault for staffing on a server we love that fostered these kinds of people to seek out our personal information and call us all pedophiles.

 

 

Also while we're doing that let's unban all the game nighters even Walter because if we don't they'll all just go back to alting, breaking rules, and won't be so nice about it.

I used to play with Fuel (not for a while, I wasn't the most active person in 2020-ish, however I did talk in the discord primarily), and he was the Saul Goodman of rules, in the most annoying way you can imagine. He would always give out the most harsh punishments, and (from what I recall) would not educate the player.

 

Enough of that, you were associated with people who doxxed MULTIPLE people, including spreading Doc's home address, face, and that article of Doc being a supposed pedophile. I cannot with a good conscious, +1 this. The people currently +1ing is like a 90 - 10% ratio of friends, vs people who genuinely think he's changed.

I understand you were a kid, I was a kid and did some fucked up shit however it was never near the type of shit you did. Never in my life would I dox people, or even be associated with them.

 

You dug your own grave when Piklas told you should have left them. You refused, and it ended up in you getting perm banned.

 

Last thing to mention, you alted multiple times during your ban, which y'know, maybe not do if you're trying to come back on your main.

the thing with the votes being casted by “friends” thats sort of an ongoing issue that i dont see a solution to. You can say anyone who +1s is his friend or anyone who -1s is bias. But realistically if you can prove your comment stems from a logical standpoint, its pretty hard to prove . Not to mention this isnt an isolated issue in appeals. Who youre friends with online also plays apart in what punishment or treatment u get on server, how fast you get staff, how quickly you get promoted, if you get raided or other “more negativity viewed” experiences on server….. basically every aspect of gmod and this community. If you want to change this, should we then start removing everyone who hangs out with fellow gmod players?
 

next point, just because you were smart as a kid doesnt mean he should be expected to be on the same level. Some kids graduate university at a young age, should we all consider ourselves retarded in comparison?

 

idk how not listening to piklas is digging a grave. Is piklas a known sage of providing good advice? Im sure a lot of people has told fuel not to hang out with those people. But that ties into the age and maturity thing. 
 

the alting thing and applying for staff thing is a problem and should be punished regardless of this decision as I mentioned in my comment so i agree w u on that. 
 

im not here to target or bash u specifically, but i def wasnt expecting this level of comment from you . When i have time i may pick apart some other peoples comments too

I’m really surprised by the amount of attention this appeal has gotten. It’s way more than I anticipated. 
 

I think the amount of controversy and back-and-forth in this thread and the number of people reaching out to me in DMs passionately against this appeal is a clear sign to me that unbanning you is not in the best interest of the community as a whole. 
 

I understand denying this is going to upset some people but understand that if it’s accepted, it will upset just as many people on the other side. It’s a lose-lose so we must weighing the pros & cons of this appeal being accepted - personally I think we have the potential to lose players and staff if it’s accepted. I’m not going to do something that I think is not in the best interest of everyone. If you want to play games with fuel you can always do it in another server.

 

Fuel, I appreciate the time and effort you put into this appeal. I recognize you've gone above and beyond to try and prove you’re a different person now but for some people, the things you did are unforgivable and it’s going to take a lot more to convince them you deserve another chance. As Kdawg said, if this was accepted it would just result in more drama and bullying. It’s just not worth the risk at this time, maybe later. I’m sincerely sorry to anyone that disagrees with my decision but I’m only doing what I feel is in the best interest of everyone on both sides.
