Why were you banned or warned?

DISCLAIMER ***I WAS TOLD BY RUBIK TO USE THIS ACCOUNT TO APPEAL, I WAS ALSO GIVEN PERMISSION TO MAKE AN APPEAL BY THE ADMIN TEAM***

Although my initial ban was a requested removal (related to the game night and walter situation) I was rebanned from community for being associated with Walter and game night at the time. While being closely associated I did things such as post a GIF with server owner Rubik face and name on it in the discord, which is the main reason why I was banned. I was not the person who actively searched for doxx against Rubik or doing so to defame his character, what I did (the youtube video skits and face gif) was a childish thing I did a while ago that I have since learnt from. A lot of the other things which were due to my association with bad actors, were understandably pinned against me, although I understand being lumped in with that I was too dumb and unpredictable at the time.

I was also not involved in the drama that had inevitably caused former owner KDawg Sugar Tits to step down. The proof is that I was already disassociated and had left the Game Night discord by then, and I believe that there were other players (who I will not mention to prevent drama from ensuing) who had a direct hand in it. I am sure that if you asked a high ranking staff member who's played at the time they will likely clear up the situation. As far as I'm aware, Sugar didn't have the same feelings of animosity toward me as Rubik had, it was more that he saw me as a stupid kid who was more trouble than was worth to let back into the community.

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I should be unbanned because I have grown as a person since then. I have realized the error of my ways and am hoping to be accepted back as a better person. I consider myself along with the people who were affected by that group to be abuse victims of a narcissistic individual. Everyone who was once an adversary or passerby to Walter or in Game Night discord have turned against him due to his batshit insane tendencies. I don't look back fondly at my experiences in that server, aside from the friendships and character development that formed as a result of how things played out. I've since made amends with all the people who I was once biased against on the server.

**I will also reiterate that I have NO involvement in any of the alleged doxing of information to LeGerbs and Cobaselic, and any other players who've claimed (or people not around when I played may claim) that I released or assisted in releasing their information to the public domain. The likelihood is that a newer player closely related to the player, with a motive leaked that information, rather than someone who literally has not interacted or spoken to the players in question for well over 3 years. I've brought up the main reasons for my community removal which were that I couldn't be trusted after the people I chose to associate with.**

I've since spoken to Rubik, and I'd like to think that we've cleared the skeletons in the closet. I believe we now share similar feelings about the situation we were both a part of. However, the outcome decided by the admin team was that I may appeal to give the community a chance to weigh in and give a balanced opinion. Had my intentions been to be malicious toward him, he and (along with many other staff) came to realize I still haven't done it, and never plan to. I have absolutely no intentions of causing drama in the server ala haze, I just wanna play on the server with my friends and have a good time. On each of my alts I've shown that I can be a respectable staff member and even after facing the ban on Desantis/violent theft, I was still pleased at the outcome.

I always tried to demonstrate that I could be a positive influence on users of the community. I've had (arguably) a way better reputation amongst players on alts like nematodes and violent theft 2, where I became moderator to fulfill the duties and was well regarded among my fellow staff members and players alike. I thank you for taking the time to read my appeal and hopefully take it into consideration. Thank you to Tenny, Chesmond, Terry, Lavender, Heosphoros, TapWater69, KKStoner, Ironfish1, Wanted, bone for vouching for me as a player, and Rubik for giving me the ability to appeal my ban and have a chat to clear the skeletons in the closet.

So where do I begin, you Alted...several times. You took part in or accused directly several staff members of being pedophiles on several occasions and posted Doc's real information (while not current still to be noted) that led to another user to get banned for doxing later unbanned for my own stupidity and not looking more into it.

 

This all being said. I never thought the idea of your ban being for "Requesting to be banned" was ever good and you know I've been +1 for it for a minute. You however doing the last thing I noted made me adamantly against bringing you back into the server. I'll see what the others say about your time here as staff and on the server while it lasted, because I can only think of the gamenight shit and what it was like during my time as staff while you were with Walter. Depending on what the others say will sway my vote. Though tell me Fuel,  how long has it been since you were hanging and chilling with walter?

[Community Removal]

When fuel was on here pre ban, I really didnt like him as a person and I was consistently hating. It honestly didnt make sense when he was outed as a fuel alt because he is indistinguishable from what I knew of him almost 4 years ago now. While both of us were 100% young, dumb and didnt know better during that time, the player I was back then is just a memory and I dont see many people who were there for it holding it against me. Although the severity of fuels situation is much different than how I was as a player I understand that which makes this appeal ultimately come to Rubiks choice because he was the one affected by his actions.

 

If fuels personality he portrayed as violent theft 2 is authentic I can say he has changed. 

 

I am not going to vote on this matter because I understand the severity of the actions that caused his ban and the knowledge he possesses, but I want to note that I believe people can change because I myself have changed if someone can change others can too.

After talking to him in Discord and in here and also figuring out what happened in GameNight in order for those bans to come out (trust me it's a fucking stupid reason) you were a kid who got around a bad crowd. I didn't interact with you much while you played as violent theft 2, but I heard good things. 

I do have an issue with alting though, especially since you made it onto the staff team..

At this time I am neutral until I see some other responses, but should this appeal be accepted I will be +1 for you remaining banned for some set amount of time for alting, along with a permanent staff ban.

I don't really see how the staff ban is necessary. Nothing with his ban had to do with misconduct as a staff member on Violent theft2. I have been around for a while and know why he is banned and have spoke to him about it. Although alting probably wasn't the best way to go about it I do believe he has changed. I believe this player was around the wrong crowd of people at the time and has since distanced himself since from them. Every time you have alted recently you have been a positive force on the server and see no reason to keep you banned. I do believe you would not do anything dumb like this again since you do genuinely care for the server and made a lengthy appeal, in which you addressed your past truthfully. My message for anyone on the fence is that this player is not the same person from years ago. I am personally +1 for unban. I hope people who don't know you and saw your past actions see the progress you made and give you a chance.
