Attempting to Crash the Server Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? My very first ban on the server over the course of several years of playtime is permanent, I believe everyone deserves a second chance and I won't fool you twice. Who warned/banned you and for how long? (Console/Rubik) Permanent Hey community, it's Minge Man, back again for my third and final appeal. At some point in the past, three or four months ago I was banned permanently for crashing the server by using an autoclicker to fill a room with door alarms. It was honestly just a spur of the moment thing and I had this cartoonish dumb picture in my head of someone walking up to the door and opening it just to get washed away by a big wave of door alarms, I committed this act simply because I thought it would entertain my party. Needless to say it didn't work out as I had pictured and obviously the staff team, namely Rubik was rather upset with me. I acknowledge that what I did was overwhelmingly retarded and ostensibly malicious. I would like to apologize for my for actions prior to the ban and I would like to also state that prior to the outlier that was this event, I had been a reputable member of the community with no previous bans and a very extensive playtime under my belt. Moving forward I would like to reform as we transition into the upcoming decade and I intend to leave my tumultuous behavior in the past. In the years to follow, might all of us find equanimity and delight in the miracle of being. I'd give you a shot since people have been unbanned for "trying to crash the server" in the past even tho they were baned for only like 2-3 months, so why not unban you aswell? The Herbalist Posted December 26, 2019 Share Posted December 26, 2019 From what I've investigated from your two accounts you have the ban for the alarms incident and the ban on your alt for alting. We also have some staff who back up your claims of being an old player, which leads me to believe there was no malicious intent with the alarm deal. This alone would usually lead me to +1 and give you a chance, but: You alted. Its becoming a common theme for players to get permed, alt, get caught and then appeal 6 months later and get allowed back, when a perm is supposed to be permanent and Alting being one of the most severe rule breakages (if used to avoid a ban, not if you just have an apt) accepting your appeal will just make this theme more common. I'm neutral for the reasons stated above. I don't think you had malicious intent, but you made shit worse by alting regardless of what you did with said alt. Sal picked a brilliant time to appeal this has confounded me completely, looking back on your prior appeals this is your only ban out of the years you played on the server, and no alt seems to be mentioned so I was confused on that. I'm +1 to give you another chance seeing as you've indeed waited out a good bit of your ban and didn't attempt to evade the appeal process.
