Ex: Demoting a cop for not arresting someone without a firearm license -> If someone failed to perform their job functions correctly (Ex: A cop let their friend have a gun without a license) you can /demote them. If they broke a rule against you (Ex: RDM) you could demote them but we highly suggest calling a sit. Contact someone before calling a /demote on them for breaking a rule against you. If you are unsure, ask for staff assistance. Additional Info: This would give players the choice between RPing their failed interaction out or escalating it to a staff issue. Encouraging players to work their own problems out may help resolve both confusion about what exactly constitutes "RP" in our rule (since you can say a cop RDMing is police brutality and that's a valid demote) and assists our staff with the possibility of less sits being called. The difference between a situation involving 2 users and a situation where staff get involved is the users choosing to escalate it or not. This give more clarification when it's okay to kill or arrest someone for trespassing in the pd. Default PD Area Restrictions (Unless law stating otherwise) Outside PD - Non Restricted Inside PD Lobby - Non Restricted, unless on lock down. Past PD Lobby - Restricted. Results in arrest on sight or kill on sight if the user is considered hostile. Inside Mayor's Office - Restricted. Kill on sight. Added into the Miscellaneous section. This gives the ability to have fun sneaking into the PD without having to call advert. Sneaking into the PD is allowed without advert as long you do not attack police or raid to PD Bank. You are not allowed to defend yourself. Ex: Hobo is allowed to sneak in to jailbreak his friend. Mugging somebody through the E menu on specific jobs. - Having a firearm without a license: If you are searched and possess a weapon without a license you can be arrested. Police may randomly search you if they have reason to believe you possess an unlicensed weapon, but it is a hostile action and you may fight back. - Prank calling emergency services: Making prank calls or false reports to the CP may result in you being arrested. Added to Advert rules: - Any "You attacked my party/gang member!" variant (You must do this in local text using /y to defend any party member in an RP scenario) Added to Basing Rules: - Do not block your doors with props or entities in a way that prevents people from seeing who owns the doors. - KoS signs are not allowed but you may have Loitering signs. Minimum time for a loiterer to be killed is 5 seconds. (This applies to raiding as well) - Being in a party or gang doesn't mean you will not die/be raided/kicked/harassed by your own party and gang. Don't call staff members for internal issues you're dealing with unless it becomes a serious problem such as Toxicity or Harassment. If you're still alive after that time, you can kill civilians - Walking up to a terrorist during an attack is not a good idea for civilians, doing this can possibly result in lethal force from a terrorist. - Party assisting is not allowed for non-terrorists, if you want to RDM, become a terrorist. You may however passively assist terrorists by healing them, or giving them items to use if you support their cause. - Terrorists can ONLY commit terror attacks OUTSIDE on or above solid ground (Including rooftops) - Terrorists can NOT commit terror attacks in buildings, underground, in the ocean or on the islands in the ocean. - Terrorists may NOT build or be inside of megabases, or any prop bases during a terror attack. - Terrorists may raid, base and megabase when they are NOT on an active terror attack. - If a terror attack is started while you are in an off-limits area, do not attack anyone unless attacked, and head to the closest area allowed for attacks. You will not be in trouble if you follow this rule. Edited Hobo Rules: - You can legally own guns by default, but you may not raid. - The Hobo Lord has the ability to megabase by himself if need be. - You may NOT micspam overly sexual content, noises intended to hurt users ears(Loud music does not fall under this category), or racist/extremely hateful content. - You may micspam anything as a Hobo class as long as it isn't listed as not allowed. You also may micspam as any other job if the audio played is related to the jobs RP. If the audio played is deemed not to be RP related you will be asked to stop. This does not apply to PD, Kingdom or Bank. As long as you're playing as the appropriate jobs to operate these special bases.
