Why were you banned or warned?

Console Cheating/aimbot.

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

Hello Fellow TitsRP staff, i was banned for cheating/aimbotting which was detected by the Anti-cheat, and i'm here to prove my innocence to all of you, in my eyes my ban was unrightful,
due to the fact that i wasn't cheating and i've tried to prove this in many ways, using malicious as a middleman between me and Rubik as english isn't my first language and i'm not the best
at explaining myself, so basically i've gave Rubik ways to reproduce this and i tried for multiple hours to reproduce it but i couldn't, so i was just banned from a flag from the anti-cheat.
i just don't think it's justified due to the fact that i didn't really have a way to defend myself against this flag, i tried everything to reproduce it, i'll give you guys an idea
of how the flag had happened so i just joined the rdm zone with malicious where he had told me to come into rdm zone just for fun as it was late night and he was going to hop off
after it, so i agreed but i was trying out new resolutions before we went onto Rainbow Six for a few games, then got bored and came back i was on for a few mins and was in rdm zone
and realised that i'm on a different resolution which was 4:3 for context, as it's good in siege and makes the models wider i thought it'd be the same for gmod but it just wasn't for me
so i changed it then i white screened and waited for it to respond, and when it did i was on the timing out menu so i tried to relog as i thought the server had crashed so i guess
i pressed mouse1 when i was waiting for it respond then i pressed esc from the server list menu and rejoined titsrp through that and realised that it had not crashed or it was just back up,
then malicious had informed me that i've triggered the anti-cheat and i didn't think much of it, as i just went straight back into the rdm zone and played for a few rounds then he logged off.
so that's the context of it, i just think that i was unrightfully banned and if you're saying in your head why didn't i make this sooner?, i was waiting for Rubik to reproduce it,
but i've heard nothing since thats why it've waited so long, i've got many clips that i'll link down below showing that my aim isn't consistent all the time, but it's always good,
in any game, and if you're concerned about my vac ban on my alt, thats over 1759 days ago, and i'm playing csgo on my main account with skins, and i could show you on that game
my aim is exactly the same if you'd like, i've got over a 1000$ inventory on this steam account which i've had since so there's no reason that i'd cheat on it and lose them items,
at the end of the day i've been playing this server for such a long time now and i've never been flagged, as Rubik has seen and i've been told there's been a false positive
of this anti-cheat, so whats different with this one, like i tried for so long to reproduce this and i couldn't, don't you think i'd of just used the same cheats to reproduce it to
not be banned. at the end of the day it's your choice if you'd like me unbanned but i just want to come back to the community where the week i was banned i was playing 120hours every
fortnight, i just want to come back to the community where i've got my friends and people that i enjoy being around and due to this i've just been watching people play
and it's just a bit upsetting, this is the only way i know to prove my innocence, at the end of the day it's whatever you guys/Rubik thinks, Thank you for reading this, it means alot to me.

You may not have the information so this may be a question for Rubik/Malicious, but can we know which Anti-cheat measure was tripped?

Client-server de-sync could explain some of the Quad0 anti-cheat measures (Like "Client to Server Manipulation") but not others (such as "Clientside Lua Execution").

Ego was banned by Rubik for triggering type1 aimbot anti-cheat. There has never been a type1 aimbot ban appealed before because it is pretty definitive. Someone with more technical knowledge of this can expand on it but this is just what I know. Type2 aimbot can be triggered pretty easily on the server and there is a lot of false positives in comparison. My question is why would this anti-cheat that has never triggered a false positive suddenly break? Maybe Rubik could expand on this but I believe his lack of response is probably due to the inability to reproduce the false-positive.

(this is not my response to the post just adding context for slick)

I do not know how you came in contact with this staff only information but I am going to leave your response up since it is constructive.

I stand by what I said as this false positive was not banned and therefore not appealed. I was more or less hoping a staff with that information would make this post as I have heard the argument that both players were banned with the exact same PYR. Is this a bug with the code? Did a GMOD update break type1 aimbot detection? Who can say. At the very least, yes this is suspicious and deserves further analysis.

I think it is a bit absurd to see my comment asking for professional opinions and calling the voting system horse shit. No decisions have even been made yet and I doubt any will be made without a response from Rubik. I understand you are friends with Ego but calibrate your tone.

POST REDACTED.

Former cheater here and I thought I could give some valuable insight.

I don't think ego was using aimbot here. With the anti-cheat message he would be aiming straight at the ground.

Based off the rotation he had when he triggered the anti-cheat I believe it's anti-aim. For those who dont know it is a cheat that offsets your hitbox. Visually from everyone elses perspective he is looking forward and shooting normally, it's just his hitbox is offset from where it is supposed to be. I'll provide a screenshot below of that for a demonstration to help people understand. This is how it would look if he was in third person. The normal model looking forward, and then the hitbox looking left and at the ground. You can see his hitbox is a head lower than his model, and anyone aiming at his models head will get no regs.

Another thing is it's perfect rotation to offset the hitbox. You can not get better rotation than that. I find it really convenient that what ego calls a "bug" ends up giving him perfect anti-aim rotation. But I'll let staff decide what to make of that.

Despite the videos he sent he could be hiding cheats still. Since medal is set to capture only the game and no overlays, he could be using wallhacks in the clips and we would not know.

Great job everyone giving cheaters a breakdown on how we detect them (silent clap). Anyways, this sort of detection is pretty robust and cannot be triggered without doing something funky with your client. Ego also has previous game and VAC bans on his main and admitted to cheating in other games which was also taken into account on whether or not he should be banned for this.

Ego I think you're a decent guy from speaking to you trying to help you but my motto has always been this: "once a cheater, always a cheater". You lose all credibility when you willfully cheat in any game and credibility is what you needed in this situation.

Not a fan of that model "once a cheater always a cheater" I got banned when I was 16 on Rust for cheating and have never once since then had cheats or used them in any other game. This ban is so old it doesnt even appear publicly on my profile. People do dumb things when they're young and eventually grow out of it.

Basing a ban off of cheating bans from 5 years ago isnt very cool tbh.

Do you actively have Rust cheats installed on your PC at this exact moment? Have you trigged the anti-cheat in the past couple weeks? His VAC ban has nothing to do with him being banned, that being the anti-cheat detection. What it shows is a pattern of using cheats over the course of several years which hurts his credibility when the story he's giving makes zero sense. I still stand behind the AC. I don't care what you did 5 years ago, there are players on the staff team with VAC bans.  You were a head admin on this account with a VAC ban. The difference is you did not trigger the AC for cheating.
