Agro’s final conversation in the discord was about transwomen, where he (as always) claimed to not be transphobic while in the same breath calling them “men pretending to be girls”. He also included being trans in his ban reasons during his crashout. If that doesn’t qualify for you, it’s willful ignorance. It’s unfortunate that all the people affected saw it coming a mile away, only to be disregarded or shoved into a corner at every turn. During his tenure of staff he even randomly accused me of knowing people personally and showing them favoritism, because I was working against transphobia. If we banned every player who said nigga or called someone a offensive slur, there would be a MASSIVE drop in players that would result in a dead server. Of course its not nice to just let people talk shit about others or let BULLIES and HATERS spread offensive and negative info on someone. To some point it is controlled and those people are dealt with, though its only on the most extreme cases. I guess there will always be negative people who have fun by hating on others. Its natural. But Banning/Punishing everyone who shares a different belief then you isnt really a fair solution. There have been heated discussions in /ooc about Religion, Politics, Gender, War E.T.C. That result in people disagreeing all the time. This INCLUDES talk about Trans people and their beliefs. Some people just CANT ACCEPT THAT. We cannot punish them for it, because Forcing OUR BELIEFS onto others is not ETHICAL. If somebody says a joke in /ooc about trans people, it shouldnt be taken personally or as a delibarete attack on all trans people. Sometimes a joke is just a joke. If the same person is doing it over and over and over again, then some warning about being more respectful is in order and later on a punishment can be applied and if a player verbally attacks someone on purpose, of course staff should get involved and try to control that person, but Punishing, Negative Repping or starting a heated deep discussion about your beliefs after somebody makes a joke is not OK. People need to be more accepting and forgiving to one another. Try to spread Love and Positivity into the world. At the same time, anyone naming themselves things like “Trans Furry Girl Cock” on the server, or having to involve CC names or anything else with something to do with sex, please do not expect degeneracy / sexual deviance to be met with kindness. Feel free to openly express yourself in a non-sexual manner.
