"fun" is subjective. Whenever im online (which is almost daily), i ALWAYS see someone playing Trashman. Some people like it, some people dont. VR Chatters are like, at most, 10 players(at a time) with CC classes who prioritize talking to one another instead of doing other RP cuz theyve already done it for years and years. Its a VERY SMALL minority compared to the rest of the server. Impossible for you to know. I would argue that it brings "low to middle class" type income. Appeal to both player bases. Overfilling the server with a million new things and constantly adding something a new class or feature every week will make the server too "vast" with things. Great argument. I like the trash man job, so do other players. Not every job needs some massive excitment aspect to it, its RP afterall. Some jobs are about immersion and social interaction and passive gameplay. 2. Team Fortress 2 lost many players because the anti-cheat there is garbage and never got properly made, which attracted TONS of hackers which could be encountered daily. Of course it also died out because its almost 20 years old. Its very difficult to keep the playerbase up for that long. 3. Introducing chaotic player killing features disrupt regular player RP. A lot of the time these features get used for trolling which is annoying for the player and the staff team to deal with. 4. Most servers are volunteer run by hobbyists. Good devs are very hard to find and Rubik has done an AMAZING job keeping the server stable on his own. Theres bug fixes coming out almost every day, not to mention the silent backend updates. 5. Just because something doesn’t appeal to older players doesn’t mean it isn’t meaningful to others. The majority of players on the server do RP jobs and havent even explored all the server features. They dont even own a CC Job. If youre a player who has played for Years and has played every job x100 times, have your dream CC job and full inv of stuff, of course youre gonna get bored of the content and start to think of it as bland and boring. 6. Gunplay dominates many Gmod servers so they need to be monitored and balanced more frequently. This used to be the case for Raiding aswell but thats no longer the case(convo for a different time). Raiding and basing mechanics directly influence server culture and the new player experience. Ignoring them would be like ignoring core systems in a competitive game because “it’s not fun to talk about.” 7. Would i love more content that brings fresh new mechanics into the game? Of course, but with only 1 dev, its very difficult to do this without creating a massive backlog

How is this even possible?! A known toxic STAFF MEMBER who literally BANNED THE WHOLE SERVER got his perma ban REMOVED. If a player can get perma banned for just being very toxic and offensive, but a player who is being very toxic and offensive and BANS THE WHOLE SERVER gets a temporary ban, then the banning system is a fucking joke. The guy has 27 BANS. He shouldve already been staff banned and yet you made him a mod and look what happened. I guess 27 bans and community known player reports of him being an extremely toxic and negative person just isnt enough. Im sure 28th times the charm. How bout you make him Admin instantly? The banning system is a JOKE if this player somehow talked his way out of a perma ban

This is just absurd logic. If someone KNOWS IN THEIR HEART that they are Christian, it doesnt mean that everybody else needs to accept Christianity as the correct way of life. People absolutely get to believe that your existence is wrong. Im not saying that LGBTQ is wrong, in fact i fully support it, but Pushing your reality onto others and saying that your beliefs/existence is right and theirs is wrong is just plain stupid. This goes BOTH WAYS. Im not talking only about LGBTQ pushing their agenda towards others. Its the same with more "average" people pushing their ideology to others. Everyone needs to respect other peoples beliefs/ideologies/faith or whatever you want to call it and NOT hate on them for not agreeing with your way of life

Freedom of Speech is an important factor in the world. If we banned every player who said nigga or called someone a offensive slur, there would be a MASSIVE drop in players that would result in a dead server. Of course its not nice to just let people talk shit about others or let BULLIES and HATERS spread offensive and negative info on someone. To some point it is controlled and those people are dealt with, though its only on the most extreme cases. I guess there will always be negative people who have fun by hating on others. Its natural. But Banning/Punishing everyone who shares a different belief then you isnt really a fair solution. There have been heated discussions in /ooc about Religion, Politics, Gender, War E.T.C. That result in people disagreeing all the time. This INCLUDES talk about Trans people and their beliefs. Some people just CANT ACCEPT THAT. We cannot punish them for it, because Forcing OUR BELIEFS onto others is not ETHICAL. If somebody says a joke in /ooc about trans people, it shouldnt be taken personally or as a delibarete attack on all trans people. Sometimes a joke is just a joke. If the same person is doing it over and over and over again, then some warning about being more respectful is in order and later on a punishment can be applied and if a player verbally attacks someone on purpose, of course staff should get involved and try to control that person, but Punishing, Negative Repping or starting a heated deep discussion about your beliefs after somebody makes a joke is not OK. People need to be more accepting and forgiving to one another. Try to spread Love and Positivity into the world. Laugh at offensive jokes, instead of taking them personally, Try to help others instead of blocking and hating on them Always remember - Stay Blessed, Never Stressed
