Report on Kurt Kobean for blatant bias

This person went out of their way to approach players on our server about a ban way after it was given in attempts to keep a player banned.

Let's get down to it. A player Piklas was banned for MRDM by JGpapi when only a single person reported him.  Piklas obviously decided to make an appeal as he wasn't given a chance during the sit to defend himself. Kurt Kobean decided to look at the logs provided on the ban appeal and reach out ON DISCORD mind you to all of the players that were killed. He used leading questions to gain "evidence" that he had MRDM'd.

 

Lets ask why this sit wasn't handled properly in the first place, why a staff member that wasn't even involved is shoveling around for evidence against a well known player, and why they seem so committed to keeping someone banned for something as simple as MRDM. If this doesn't scream bias to you then I don't know what will. I also want to take the opportunity to point out this staff member has NEVER done this for any other person who appeal for MRDM in the past.

Why is he supporting this person but refusing to support Piklas and even investigating people who were killed on discord?

so i was there that night and there were 4 sits up against him

how that sit was handled i got no clue as i did not involve myself with that part
also piklas was answering very rude on forums what you chould not do i understand he will be mad but answering rude to staff working voluntarily helping the server is not the way to go

for the rest i will not reply as i dont know the full stuff behind

Post the logs then. You have them anytime you export logs. Or have the original banning staff member post them.

You literally were not, idk why you would lie about being online and there being sits up .

If any staff wants evidence of Katoon not being online for this incident I'm happy to send over 2 seperate clips which show the entire scoreboard at that time.

what he did isn’t anything crazy in my eyes, and after all hes a good mod. But going out of your way to ask people on discord about it just looks kinda bad. Usually people wouldn’t go that far for a MRDM ban, so it makes it pretty clear bias.

 

My 2 cents on this whole thing seems like piklas is tryna drama monger a bit, from the first mrdm ban, to now, with all the reports on different staff, and coming back after I banned him for SBC mass rdm, to do it again then make more reports about getting banned.

 

Piklas you been around for years man you know you’re gonna get banned for doing things like that, its coming off like your bored with the server and trying to cause drama.
