I was banned for "IRL threats / dox threats" when I pm'd Succ The Zucc "I will dox you, go to your house, and fill it with zyklon-b you kyke fuck" Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? Getting perm'd for sending a false threat seems extremely unreasonable, nobody is going to dox over a GMOD darkRP server, and I'm not pulling a soviet joker asking to drop his fucking addy in discord. This was also the first PM/interaction with Succ, and the first ban or even warn I've had since returning to the server. I heard he said he was a jew, then that he says he's a christian, so I just thought it would be funny to make an anti-semetic comment. I see that jokes about Doxxing are not tolerated and will not make them anymore as well as IRL "threats". Who warned/banned you? Jewann/Nanights How long were you warned or banned for? Permanently I would perfectly accept a harassment ban of 2 weeks as it can be offensive to say what I said, but perma definitely seems extreme. I see how it could have offended Zucc, and I understand that dox threats are evidently a 0-tolerance policy regardless of actual intent or following through. I am somewhat in agreement that you shouldn't be permabanned, but you should definitely stay banned until you can admit, and come to terms with your mistake. I think you need to sit down, and think about what your reaction would be to someone you didn't know much about threatening to give away information about you, and threaten the life of your family. Not everyone will have the same reaction to that situation, but I can guarantee you that nobodies reaction would be positive. This is a conclusion that you could have very easily reached before you sent that message to Zucc, and I believe that until you can be in a mindset where you will actually think about these things before you say them, and show remorse for/understand it being wrong, you should stay banned. I'd be more than willing to + a reduction but you don't offer any form of apology for what you did, just excuses that someone else said bad things a while ago too and it wasn't as bad. Instead saying that your ban should not be that long, how about you actually take time to think about WHY what you did was stupid. I can 100% acknowledge I shouldn't have said it. My wording definitely could've been better as re-reading the appeal for the 4th or 5th time, I see I displayed a lack of empathy. I did not intend malice or harm towards Zucc emotionally, mentally, or physically. While I do evidently disagree with the punishment, not the RULE, as I said, I understand it was not the correct thing to do and messages like that are not tolerable. While I will say I was mildly irritated which may have initially prompted the idea of sending a message, it was still unacceptable, and not excusable; I'm not making excuses or justifying actions, I'm simply requesting forgiveness and a lesser ban sentence. I waited an amount of time before making my appeal purposefully as I knew what I did was wrong and I deserved some form of ban, I just feel a permanent ban isn't necessary. I think this message probably should've been my original ban appeal but hey, I decided to make my ban appeal while shitfaced. Don't ask me why. I would like to think of this whole situation as an out of the ordinary blunder, as I feel I've mostly reformed since 2017/2018, and these kind of comments are uncommon for me to make now-a-days (I mean, uncommon is an understatement but you all understand the point).
