Im so confused.

I'm so confused on how raiding is going to work. The only way to raid efficiently against a big group is god food and tanking the damage. If you drop the C4 or timebomb it gets shot out. If you have god food on and they shoot you with a fling weapon, it'll still fling you. I just personally don't see an efficient way to raid anything that's worth your time. You cant better stealth to sneak up and place a C4 because they'll shoot you once and gun you down. I just don't see a way to raid that make's it balanced.

 

Now I'm probably going to get tons of comments saying that I'm just a shitter, but what I'm saying is true. There's just no efficient way to raid without getting sprayed or using god food.

 

A way I see to make it near balanced is just re-adding junk launcher on C4 and timebombs. If you don't have god food it's basically impossible to raid with timebombs and most of the time C4. If a new player gets a timebomb or some C4 and they go in to try and place it, just to die instantly. If they were able to just peak from the door and shoot it in and hide until it blew up I feel like there would be a lot more people raiding.

How about this (And hear me out here) how about if we removed god food altogether, and increased C4 and timebombs range? Right now, C4 is a really weak raiding tool, unless you have the tali, and the Big C4 talisman is even worse now so there goes that idea :/

 

But otherwise, +1 all the way. IMO only problem with C4 is that it did not obey LOS.

Having C4 have a bigger width aint gonna do nothing when you cant even walk into a base to place it down. I just want it to go back to being able to be punted

Honestly my opinion is that punting c4 should be readded and god food removed. In the process of quote on quote changing the meta all they did was switch the one sidedness from the raiders to the defenders. And with the radius and pretty much every other nerf I don’t see why being able to chuck c4 in would be a bad thing.

My opinion, add punt back but keep the C4s and Timebombs how they are, remove god food, and strip the potions from inventories. They are still there and I know as a fact that some people have thousands still in stock. Also remove reduced size talisman, but keep all the others. Theres a reason why small models cant raid. I personally just want to see some actual fights where skill is needed, not just a fuckload of equipment. Keep the size change food so that shitters don't complain about the changes. Also. Its good that leggies have been changed, but that affects recent players, doesn't affect the guys who have been playing for months/years and have outstanding weapons that kill you in 1.5 seconds, I still have too many weapons that just end people in a split second. I just think a whole rework has to be done at the next community meeting where we get together and figure out what the best options is to make as many people happy possible, and I think the priority should be fairly new players. Of course, I think new players need to be able to not get raided after 2 minutes cause they have fuck all. I finally agreed to make do with some shitters moral values, cause an asshole is an asshole. But changes can be made to make the server better for newcomers and keep the server sane.

reduced size talisman doesnt even make u small anymore. I think sugar also said he isnt removing bestial potions. Also, small models cant do anything because they have broken hitboxes, reduced size talisman and foor didnt/ doesnt break hitboxes, it makes them smaller.

Potions are straight up just a nerf in combat. They've been destroyed to the point they aren't very worth using in a battle.

I've said it before, nerfing raiding without nerfing basing would shove the odds of winning into that of the defender.

 

Since the low IQ crutch for raiding (C4 Punting) has been removed, so too should the low IQ crutch for basing be removed if the current C4 changes want to be kept.

 

Kill one-ways and things will balance out.

Even more unpopular opinion. How amazing would it be, to make basing with dupes unauthorized. I feel like it would push people to create bases themselves, and you would actually have to work to build a base properly. Making basing more difficult.

I get that. But reduced size + god food + speed food + invisibility potion/better stealth, what do you want to do ? You of all people know the advantage you have on others using 20 things at the same time. Of course I know it takes skill to use all of them and shoot at the same time, but bind fast weapon change and you are good to go.
