I thought I joined CP in time for the revolt and killed people without knowing I wasn't a part of it. I haven't been banned on this server before and I understand my mistake and I can assure you I will definently be more cautious next time Who banned you? So first off here is the actual Ban Log: USER Lordxior (STEAM_0:0:162826391) ADMIN OMG Silver (STEAM_0:1:128931255) REASON Rdmx2 (Didn't know he joined cp later to be in revolt be more careful) BAN LENGTH 1 Days UNBAN TIME 2018-01-21, 1:03 AM As you can see this is not Mass RDM, nor is it even Intentional RDM, and there is no Extend Request attached to the Ban. So what should the punishment for this incident be? Well, according to Proper Punishment Guidelines, it should be a warn, verbal or written, but not a ban since it was not intentional. https://titsrp.com/showthread.php?tid=2055 Falsely killing someone (RDM) If on accident usually a verbal warning would be given unless it could have obviously been avoided, in which case a warning would be issued. For example, if the offender failed to read the rules. If on purpose but had a false reason than up to a warning can be given, we all make mistakes. I personally would have been leaning more towards the written warn for this case since the incident more closely matches the second example for RDM than the first, but I definitely would not have banned for this offense. While I do not fault the Banning Staff Member for this ban and would not recommend any consequences for it, I do believe that by definition this is technically a false ban and that the banned subject should have the ban lifted immediately, as well as that the Banning Staff takes note of this case and remembers it for future reference. +1 FOR UNBAN Also I personally see no issue with Stephanie or any other users commenting on an appeal, given that it is relevant to the case. They should know however that their vote means literally nothing to anyone that has authority over the matter. What I do have a problem with is wasting commenting energy trying to make it an issue when it's really not. Just ignore them if you don't care about it. Mori Posted January 20, 2018 Share Posted January 20, 2018 Kinda mad that you made a ban appeal even tho I could have banned you for mass rdm I was even kind enough to make it only 24 hours you killed 4 people including one as CP I was kind enough to forgive you on my kill and considered the cp as crossfire because it crazy in the pd, just wait the 24 hours out man.
