Glorp Posted June 28 Share Posted June 28 If anything Von should be punished for borderline accusing Kert even if no ill intent was meant, furthermore, neither of these players reported each other, so I can understand where the frustration is coming from, and that should NOT hold them back from receiving the punishment they ACTUALLY deserve, as well as I personally feel no punishment should have been handed out at all for a 4 day old situation NO ONE REPORTED, with NO PRIORS. But looking over it more and realizing both of you don't really care abt it and aren't actually beefing I'm fine with moving it to a warn. Neither one of you have any notable recent priors for anything of the sorts, so at the most it should be a warn imo. Both of you should know to not talk about stuff like that in game or on the discord. If you continue or do something similar it will of course be a ban in that case, But a warn is more than suffice for his. If minor arguments in gen chat are what we are qualifying as drama mongering now, then I hope you're ready to dish out punishments to half of the staff team. The only reason I'm even fine with a warn is because I understand that what I said COULD be interpreted if you try hard enough as an accusation of some kind. I didn't drama monger. I didn't "tiptoe" some imaginary line. I had a nothing burger argument with another player who did not feel the need to report it same as myself. Either enforce this shit universally or don't, but don't give me an in-game ban for 2 weeks because of a conversation I had with another player then expect me to learn some kind of lesson. Multiple staff members were present during the argument, and not one of them made any genuine attempts to stop it. Madx2r0 Posted June 29 Share Posted June 29 Personally i agree and disagree, the comments / drama has been going on for far too long and while 2 weeks is a little egregious right out the gate I do believe that both still deserve some punishment, I honestly have no ill will towards either players and have had mostly had pleasant interactions however a precedent needs to be made, and i feel personally that the previous issues that have already been handled have taught no lesson to the players for their past actions.
