Pretty obvious, this is yet another instance of staff deliberately misinterpreting intent behind a message. Regardless of how it "comes off", even if you do decide to interpret this as an "accusation", a 2w ban for a very tame first offense is nothing short of absolute INSANITY considering the precedent set in the past. DIRECT pedophile accusations typically result in warns. Indirect accusations have resulted in VERBALS. Can someone explain the massive leap in logic where this sentence leads to a 2w ban off rip please? Mind you, this is a 2w banned shared with player "Von" who has said the following in gen chat: "rectangle with cube = bad talking about fucking dog = ok" "i think dogs are cute, i have a german sheperd i know someone who likes them more than that though. do you know them?" " thoughts on dogs?" These are multiple clear accusations, yet for some reason I received the same ban length? A player who already has priors for NSFW, and multiple timeouts for the same reason? At best, this is an instance of gross staff negligence and once again a mass failure to properly research instead of just clicking the fat green +1, and at worst this is the titsrp classic of "mean guy got in trouble! max punishment!!!" I said those things because I genuinely don't know why some random person who has never spoken before, atleast in years; would know about kat and what they've done; even knowing who I was. Sure, I may have deserved punishment, but your intent was to troll and be toxic regardless. You've made it pretty clear that the only reason you're existing within the server is to drama monger to begin with. i don't know, maybe just don't make an alt account to drama farm? it's lowkey funny you dragged me along to be banned but were banned aswell. also, you continuously called me a freak/insulted me for my stupid minion dupes that are a silly joke. Hence the context behind "rectangle bad, talking about dog fucking ok". Posted June 27 Share Posted June 27 Hi this was a smod/admin vote involving everyone and we all agreed that checking both of your guy's history, involvement in the situation, and the drama mongering between you two it would best result to give you both a 2w ban with no timeout unless continued. 2w is the standard a warn is only a nicety given in situations where there wasn't ill intent. You guys were both causing problems, and have thus been given equal treatment. You banned me for no other reason than what I posted which YOU perceived as an accusation. 2w are not the standard and you know that as well as I do. If anyone actually READ the conversation, they would see it was regarding a player who got banned for making a pedophilic comment (which Tali and MadX can attest to as they were both present). "Drama mongering" is vastly different from trying to justify a reason a player was banned. And since Blue likes to snip out individual comments without context to pad his poor decision making, let me give the proper contextualization on each of these lines. - The von "enjoyment" line was never intended as an accusation and was perceived as such by Blue. That alone should not warrant a 2w ban. (To add to this point, Spys made an "indirect pedo accusation" and got a warn made into a verbal on his second offense.) - Kat is a player who was PERMENANTLY banned for making comments regarding dogs. How throwing spitballs at a player like that qualifies as "drama mongering" is BEYOND me when it is beyond common practice to do so. (Refer to 90% of community removed players). - "That nigga is into dogs" was directed at Kat Jenkins (Who AGAIN was permenantly banned for what he said.) - Every other post was me responding to the numerous accusations made by Von saying I was either a Kat Jenkins alt account, or I had some sort of "interest" in dogs. If that qualifies as drama mongering, then explain why half the server isn't banned? Not once did I directly call anyone out besides Kat, and not once did I instigate any sort of arguments (and took steps to remove myself from them if anyone took the time to actually read the conversation blue is taking its and pieces from).
