so like what was the reason u kept using the model to get into sit land after being told not to. ur aware its a bug ur aware it takes u to sitland and ur aware if u swap model it sends u back (or sumshit), so what was the actual reason u kept doing it? idk if u alr said it or something theres alot of text so i mightve missed it but just curious

If what other staff members are saying is true, you were warned about this several times. Not even in a hee-haw kind of way, but very straight to the point of, "stop doing this" and you were aware of the fact this was an issue because you went straight to Rubik to ask about it.

 

So let me make a flowchart here: Find bug => goto Rubik and tell him about it => continue to replicate the bug purposefully => get asked to stop => get note on record saying you were warned for this => do it again => get banned for continuing the activity that you know is a bug/issue.

 

You could have made the choice to simply go, "yeah this model is broken, not gonna use it for now" and waited for the all clear from Rubik about it. This is the issue.

 

Personally, I'm -1 on this ban appeal.

 

 

 

 

I agree with joey here on the fact that you've been given chances to not do it, but I don't really agree on a week ban for something like this - even with prior verbals. Personally I wouldve just kept going up the chain of punishment. Verbal < Note < Warn <1-3 day ban vs jumping to 1 week. I also don't really like how you didn't bother to mention any of your previous talking to's until staff brought them up. If you're appealing you should bring the whole situation to light including that you had been told multiple times to stop. With that in mind and with the state of the appeal not being completely genuine to start I don't really think you should be unbanned. I would support a 1-3 day - 1 seeming the most reasonable IMO. Exploiting into sitland has always been punishable and I've seen staff ban people on the spot for it - not that i necessarily think that banning on the spot is right - its always been a thing.

You made the decision to keep doing it despite being told not to, therefore I think you should reap what you sow. Punishment of some form is justified, but maybe not a whole ass week.

yeah i agree and i have dmed rubik about it, i get i was told to not go back but i was never actually warned for doing so meaning i had no idea how serious the punishment would be for a issue cause by the server and i wasnt interrupting people from what i know other then what malicious is saying, i would even take 3 days over a week

rubik had dmed me and said he removed the model and when i got off work it was still there so i had assumed he fixed portal or removed whatever had caused the issue i had only been in sitland twice the day of the ban once when i switch i did not teleport and died and got tped and then malicious respawned me and like i had told him when he was talking to me i was just standing up there making a plushie swep, i was in spawn for about 40mins-1hr still making it and then i left spawn and reset since i did not teleport back to sitland when he respawned me but i indeed went back to sitland was there for about 2 mins and then malicious tped to me and banned me for 1 week

i reset to see if it would take me to sitland since yesterday when i was testing out how it worked with henchy i wasn't able to get it to teleport me until i had already been tped to sitland via a ticket, now learning that is not the case i figured i might as well see what the cause is since i didn't get tped when malicious respawned me so i was curious

I think it should be 1-3 days instead of a week bc if someone is using bug exploit then its also UR responsibility to verbal or warn someone FOR it. I checked his profile and he has NO verbals or warn for being told to stop. I mean its the same with rdm. If someone rdms, you dont just tell him to stop and then keep going. No, you give him a VERBAL and ALSO tell him to stop. ( also say "check rules with !rules" but that doesnt need to be done.) 

 

In the end i dont have much saying here.

 

I mean we can ask Henchy and F___ abt this what they think?
