Glorp
+1 for the removal of voteban. The argument made doesnt matter with the rule change Edited June 15 by Glorp Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/25279-mnlr-raid-as-sewer-lord-ban-appeal/page/2/#findComment-179342 Share on other sites
ChefSoda
30 minutes ago, Succ The Zucc said: Given the scenario, "affecting a raid" could mean any raiding action which is what you technically did and then came back a time or 2 (by your words). There is a reason that the rulebook explicitly state "AFFECTING" a raid and not "EFFECTING" a raid. The two words are different. Scenario 1.) If a raid was taking place and the raiders were outside about to raid a base in the sewers and SL starts killing them and then they kill SL in retaliation, SL then cannot break NLR because that would be affecting a raid Scenario 2.) If basers are basing in the sewer and the SL kills them and steals/destroys their ents, that is effecting a raid [failrp] Scenario 3.) if basers are basing in the sewer, and they drop their dupe and the SL comes and kills them, that is neither. That is precisely the role of the SL based on the rule set. "kill anyone invading your sewers". In this scenario SL can break NLR and so can the basers who were killed because it wasn't a raid action, it was an RP action. What he did couldn't possibly have been considered raiding since he did exactly as the Sewer Lord is supposed to do. He didn't touch or take any ents, he just went in when they dropped the dupe and killed them. Nick just got pressed and made a voteban, and now we're acting like the voteban was somehow warranted. 53 minutes ago, Glorp said: He is only bound by NLR if he is directly affecting ANOTHER PLAYER'S raid, the fact it is his own raid means he does have to follow raid NLR. 1 hour ago, Melly Quinta said: killing someone is a raid action, so you killing that one person started the raid, dying and coming back was nlr, if what you mean by twice is that you killed a person the first time, then came back and tried again only to be killed again, and then doing it again then thats 2x NLR, maybe its not mnlr but still NLR, you running in the base is perfectly fine but damaging / killing one of the owners of the base is a raid action, so you should of stopped there. Glorp makes a good point also, although I still don't see what he did as a raiding action, he didn't affect anyone's raid so any sort of NLR he would've caused doesn't stand, which is 90% of what the voteban was for. And as for melly's take, the sewer lord's entire RP purpose is to kill anyone in the sewers. What he did wasn't a raid action, it would be different if he was dropping c4 to phase defenses out but he didn't. He ran in, killed them, then came back to do the same. Sewer Lord's are quite literally supposed to do that. Calling what he did a raid action would mean half of the people that sewer lord's decide to kill would all be their own little raids back to back. Idk i could be completely wrong, but i just don't see this voteban as being valid. Nick is a known voteban minge lmao Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/25279-mnlr-raid-as-sewer-lord-ban-appeal/page/2/#findComment-179345 Share on other sites

Succ The Zucc
Sewer Lord is NOW allowed to kill people inside their bases in the sewers with no NLR outright. As per a new (small) addition the rules. This means if someone else isnt raiding the base and the base is wide open then its fair game. +1 to remove the voteban from record. 1 Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/25279-mnlr-raid-as-sewer-lord-ban-appeal/page/2/#findComment-179350 Share on other sites
Blacnova
The voteban will be removed, however I’d still like to wait for Nick’s response on whether he exhausted the options available to him before pulling the trigger. Given there was only one instance of potential NLR and Nick and his friends didn’t even die, I’m not understanding the rush to voteban him while staff were on. 1 Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/25279-mnlr-raid-as-sewer-lord-ban-appeal/page/2/#findComment-179351 Share on other sites
Nick Wilder
I made a sit and no staff took it. you were trying to raid our base as sewer lord which you cant do and you nlred which you can also not do the staff couldve cancelled but they did not they were clearly afk and you needed to be removed to prevent destruction of our property. 1 Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/25279-mnlr-raid-as-sewer-lord-ban-appeal/page/2/#findComment-179352 Share on other sites

Due to new rulechange he can now NLR raid like Master Stalker. BeeTeeth
+1 for ban removal nick, you dropped dupe which by anyone’s definition means the raid is over. Sewer lord owns all of the sewer (the name kinda implies it) so technically speaking he can walk into any open base and kill you, I recommend just shooting him next time? How long did you wait after making a sit to voteban him? From what ChefSoda is saying, he only NLRed once before getting votebanned. Did he come back more than that one time? You wrote in your ban reason “mass nlr”. Also when you say he was raiding/destroying property, what did he actually do other than just running into an open base and trying to kill you? 1 Link to comment https://forums.titsrp.com/topic/25279-mnlr-raid-as-sewer-lord-ban-appeal/page/2/#findComment-179361 Share on other sites
