(which was basically how you acted in both my sits that day) and how you were unwilling to just listen. The second clip you provided in my sit wasn't even with dextah (It was someone named policeman or something) which is another reason why I couldn't even use your clip that you provided. Kert Kobean Posted September 12, 2025 Share Posted September 12, 2025 So I understand why you're frustrated, and I really don't think you deliberately LTAPPED to avoid any sort of consequences. It was a heat of the moment decision, and like I said I understand it. However, regardless of the intent, you still left before the sit was concluded. You were only gonna receive a twelve hour ban if you had taken a moment to breathe before going forward with the sit. Furthermore, you could have avoided a ban ENTIRELY if you'd just maintained your composure and acted respectful during the sit. The outcome of a sit is ultimately left up to the staff member who took it, so telling them to shut up and talking over them is not the best approach period. Use this ban as a chance to work on yourself. Remember, at the end of the day it's just a game. If you're getting tilted, stand up and stretch for a minute. Grab some water. Breathe. I'm gonna be a -1 for unban. Listen to the advice given going forward, and come back with a fresh and more positive outlook. Blue. Posted September 12, 2025 Share Posted September 12, 2025 The entire time succ was being polite and patient with you yet you decided to constantly speak over him and even resorted to insulting. You were going to be given a pretty lenient ban, basically a time out to come back when you were thinking clearly, and you decided to leave. LTAP usually causes you to lose any leniency as you just voided the sit. I think you were being given a pretty reasonable chance and you kind blew it by leaving. You can even see in logs the last time you warned was several minutes prior. When you're warning someone it needs to be either in the e menu and you wait 3 seconds, or you do /advert warn 1/2/3 3 seperate consecutive times. I would suggest not leaving mid sit in the future, and to be patient and wait your turn to speak in a sit. Don't let yourself get this upset over something silly like rdm, its just not worth it. -1 for an unban though I will ask: What are you contesting with the reasoning? Why would you consider your situation to not be IRDM? Did you not intentionally kill the guy without valid reason or proper protocol? Henchy Posted September 12, 2025 Share Posted September 12, 2025 There's 0 reason to be disrespectful to someone who is trying to explain things to you and give you advice. a 12h ban would've been very lenient, if someone like this happens again best thing to do would be to listen and remain civil and respectful and of course patient. Another advice is if you truly believe someone to be annoying just press TAB and find their name and simply hit mute chat and voice if they decide to RDM you or anything like that you can report them for that.
