This report is a little puzzling.

In the clip, Annex did own the door while Drip was lockpicking the door. There are however two problems. First is that the clip has no audio so it seriously lacks context (Yes the sound matters in this case). The second problem being there's very little proof to show Drip waited for them to fully secure the entities after the raid.

However the rule stated needs to be rewritten and we should crack down on rules that can confuse the average player.

-1 for any punishment

+1 for rule rewrite

The main thing that seemed to cause this problem was the vagueness of the rule. I don’t think that either side did anything wrong but I do feel that the rule ahould he changed to make situations like this more clear in the future.

-1 for any punishment.

+1 for rule rewrite.

I can understand why it might seem bad but i do agree with the fact that the wording of securing is scuffed. If its changed it should be like tene mentioned.
-1 for any punishments on decent human being, +1 for changing the rule wording.

Definitely a Grey area on the rule , overall it should be rewritten and I fully agree with Mal and Harp on this one

It takes players reports/bans to bring up Grey areas like this for staff to fix

-1 no punishment

+1 rewording rule to clear up confusion

You need to be on the doors before a raid begins. If you guys didn’t have a dupe up yet that’s unfortunate but it’s not really anyone’s fault but your own. Once he started lockpicking the doors the raid begins.

The motd as it’s written clears this up entirely. There’s no need to change anything to complicate things even more.

You shouldn’t steal printers from someone if you don’t already have anywhere secure to store them.

the motd says specifically to wait for entities to be secured because people would before just camp outside peoples bases and wait for them to come back. Saying a rule that was added to address a specific problem shouldnt be enforced that way is stupid.

If you want to remove the rule thats fine but as written currently, the reporting player broke nlr.

I think the confusion is what defines a base as being secured. Some say there’s an unwritten rule that you need to have spawned a dupe while others say there is a common practice of waiting a few minutes and I’m saying that due to a lack of any clear definition of what it means to be secure, that as soon as the doors are closed and locked it is secure.

@1-800-Suicidecould you clarify what rule you’re basing this off of? Not saying you’re wrong but based on the motd I don’t see how they broke nlr.

Finding the raider's base after you die and raiding them after they're done securing your printers. ALLOWED

Underscored part is added for a reason. It's pretty common sense that just entering the base isn't securing the entities.
