this is a clip itself prior of finding the base also my audio is ass im sorry didnt know prior of

am i deaf or where does anoc say the base location in the clip cause u already knew where the base was before 'finding' it as you're talking about how hard it is to throw holy's at ele. maybe i missed it in the clip but ur mic audio pillaged my ears so that is my excuse.

Just realized this since I always have brainfarts:

The rule about what considers a base "secure" obviously still needs a rewrite. HOWEVER, the doors were shielded and Drips began the raid by lockpicking the door, giving Terry enough time to set the dupe up (since while discouraged, Drips can't exactly tell if the dupe was set up if the door wasn't open yet) while the rest of the group could set up their entities. In the end, it's a skill issue if a group of players who are known for raiding and basing doesn't own the doors as the first step in securing their doors.

Even if Drips raid spectated and followed them into the base, the rules say "DO NOT take rule violations into your own hands, someone else breaking the rules doesn't mean you get to and you can be punished too", which Annex failed to follow as owning the doors mid-raid is not allowed as rules state "You must be on the front door(s) of the base before a raid starts to defend it.". It also states that "The owner(s) of your door(s) must be clearly visible to everyone at all times.", indicating that you must already own the door to be considered on doors.

Changing my -1 for punishment to a +1 for warn + strike on Annex since it's a bad look that a staff member in general broke a rule that he SHOULD be aware of, even if he doesn’t base.

Still fail rp either way from the Senior mod that added themself to the door. mid raid. You cannot see a dupe being placed the Rule that is in place also the clip i added showed they had pently of time to be added to doors and put ents to the back of the base henceforth terry had doors added for over 10 mins before the raid. so if anything still fail rp

Do you have a logs or a clip about the 10 minute claim? Also they want you to post more footage from before the clip you posted with the bad audio,

I think at the end of the day we can all agree that NLR or not-  buying the doors during the raid is still a rule break. There may be complications with the ruling, and it seems some in the raiding community have a sort of unwritten rule about waiting till the dupe is down/or waiting some time and not immediately going to the base of the raiders who just killed you - but the official wording does not imply that unfortunately.

By definition at the bare minimum - secure would be considered doors closed/locked. Reasonably most do not count this because it ideally should be considered NLR what you did. It is not considered NLR however, unless you raid spectated or followed them, which they have asked you to prove you didn't.

I don't think a whole ass strike is necessary those are generally saved for more severe offenses, I could be +1 for a warn for failrp at most, since yes like rdming an rdmer - there was a rule break here to an extent.

is this you saying terry should have just pasted dupe when the raid started (also failrp) and in the same reply saying a different staff member should be given a strike for a failrp rulebreak entirely unrelated to any staff conduct?

as ive said though, if majority vote for annex to be warned im happy with a warn, if majority vote for no warn im also fine with that. a strike shouldnt even be considered since there was nothing to do with staffing related to this and judging off of replies its obviously not a super intense rulebreak that warrants anything more than normal punishment.

Also drips can you please post the full clip, as it is 2 minutes long shown by your clip timer, but u have only provided 1:37 of it, meaning you're intentionally leaving out context (the same way your initial clip was edited to have no audio after it was called out). -Piklas
