Whats fun for one person is frustrating for another. I like the trash man job, so do other players. Not every job needs some massive excitment aspect to it, its RP afterall. Some jobs are about immersion and social interaction and passive gameplay.

Just because you're dumb enough to find it fun doesnt make it good for the game. In a multiplayer game you prioritise player interactions. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2241020/Garbage_Truck_Simulator/ <--- Buy this if you're so interested in singleplayer garbage collection.

Team Fortress 2 lost many players because the anti-cheat there is garbage and never got properly made, which attracted TONS of hackers which could be encountered daily. Of course it also died out because its almost 20 years old. Its very difficult to keep the playerbase up for that long.

It died for the same reason titsrp is getting stale, the developers added nothing meaningful for years.

Introducing chaotic player killing features disrupt regular player RP. A lot of the time these features get used for trolling which is annoying for the player and the staff team to deal with.

If by "RP" you mean VRchatters standing around at fountain talking about furry femboy bussys this is only an upside.

. Most servers are volunteer run by hobbyists. Good devs are very hard to find and Rubik has done an AMAZING job keeping the server stable on his own. Theres bug fixes coming out almost every day, not to mention the silent backend updates.

This one isn't. This server brings in a ridiculous amount of money for the effort that Rubik puts into it. It is a cash cow.

ust because something doesn’t appeal to older players doesn’t mean it isn’t meaningful to others. The majority of players on the server do RP jobs and havent even explored all the server features. They dont even own a CC Job. If youre a player who has played for Years and has played every job x100 times, have your dream CC job and full inv of stuff, of course youre gonna get bored of the content and start to think of it as bland and boring.

Why should we appeal to new players rather than people who actually put time and effort into learning the game? Without the legacy playerbase TitsRP dies overnight.

Gunplay dominates many Gmod servers so they need to be monitored and balanced more frequently. This used to be the case for Raiding aswell but thats no longer the case(convo for a different time). Raiding and basing mechanics directly influence server culture and the new player experience. Ignoring them would be like ignoring core systems in a competitive game because “it’s not fun to talk about.”

You're bad

Would i love more content that brings fresh new mechanics into the game? Of course, but with only 1 dev, its very difficult to do this without creating a massive backlog

Rubik hoards the codebase to himself and does nothing with it 🙂

"fun" is subjective. Whenever im online (which is almost daily), i ALWAYS see someone playing Trashman. Some people like it, some people dont.

VR Chatters are like, at most, 10 players(at a time) with CC classes who prioritize talking to one another instead of doing other RP cuz theyve already done it for years and years. Its a VERY SMALL minority compared to the rest of the server.

Impossible for you to know. I would argue that it brings  "low to middle class" type income.

Appeal to both player bases. Overfilling the server with a million new things and constantly adding something a new class or feature every week will make the server too "vast" with things.

Great argument.

i will not be officially replying to “Michael Bay” because he is not an intellectual equal to me and is a symptom of the terminal sickness (which could be cured, by the way. it doesn’t have to be terminal) of this server. i agree my post could be condensed but here are some key points for me to elaborate on:

1. why is there no new map after all these years. the map we use is fine but has plenty of issues and could be improved. why are we also removing fun things like the halloween map/nextbots, i understand they are buggy but is there no fix?

2. why do the super administrators not hire new developers instead of doing this manage the server bullshit never adding anything besides novelty like pets and a chat box (who cares about this, and who wants this change). you are hardly developers, you repackage the battlepass every season or so and add a few rinky dinky things that nobody gives a shit about (world of Warcraft pet box for example, or rock dynamite). please name one change in the past 2-3 years that is interesting, and if you can why isn’t that done more often.

3. where does all the money go from the people we know spend thousands of dollars on the server (Michael Bay). you have paypigs (such as Michael Bay) that give a ridiculous amount of money to add their cc shit and we get what exactly. oh a new raffle after roughly 3 years of not even doing raffles.

4. poor attempts to address this with more frequent “community meetings” where basically nothing is discussed of any value. for example: in the meeting piklas asked rubik to add more inventory slots to improve quality of life on the server due to all the inventory junk that has been added over the years (anyone who plays a lot knows that your inventory literally fills will shit if you play frequently). what does super administrator rubik say to this? this is almost a word for word quote by the way. he says this; "I'd REALLY like to give you guys uhh the um like the uh um inventory slots but uh yeah so it's uhhh hard-coded so I like... can't actually do that so yeah."

not interested in hearing a cop out such as “you try coding the server”. we as a server are far overdue for some actual content updates. super administrators and developers, remember that you work for me. we deserve better. battlepasses, raffles, pets, etc are not good enough. 70 of the people online at anytime are not playing for the battlepass or pets, they want to run around and play cop or play fun jobs and have chaotic interactions with other players.

Hot take: The server isn't "boring" because of the jobs (or lack there of).  It's "boring" because the agents of chaos keep getting their bans doubled for mass rdm over and over again. All that's left are the quiet people who don't mass rdm, afk time farmers, and sewer basers. It makes a 90/128 night feel like a 64/128 night (or less).

Make TitsRP Great Again and stop doubling bans for mass rdm. The chaos is part of the experience. Not the degeneracy daycare this server's become (this sentence is a joke, calm your tits).

What are the actual content updates you want made? I will agree that there hasnt been super huge content changes and instead smaller tweaks/additions, and I do very much want boss fights (grr) but I think it is due to the idea going from making 1 really big change every few months to tons of smaller changes and additions instead. It also is due to Rubik being 1 person who also works a job and is busy with irl things.

Hiring devs I believe rubik has explained before is something that is alot easier said than done if you're aiming for actual good developers that know how to make stuff specific to this server that wont pillage optimisation (what titsrp tries to prioritise) and server-performance, along with the actual quality of the stuff produced typically needing to be fixed anyways by rubik (or sugar at the time).
If you look at the suggestions in discord, they are mostly small change suggestions, and I think there is probably more 'value' in doing several small suggestions vs 1 somewhat big suggestion that not everyone cares about.
Example: The mafia leader update was actually hyped, then upon being released no one cared to actually use that job or roleplay it unless they were brand new or needed to for a quest.

Making new huge updates and balancing it around already existing systems is difficult when trying to not completely outshine any/be better than other systems (ie a new thing that makes more money than basing, or a new item system that changes raiding and basing, or a new job that then has to be tweaked via rules to not be aids and loopholeable + the exploits that come with new things)

The server has fuck tons of content, its just people have poured months of playtime into it which with any game will get boring eventually. When you think of all the systems we actually have on the server, new additions that are worth sinking tons of time into for everyone/majority of people to enjoy is difficult with the added risk of just months of development time being wasted on a thing no one cares about. This is probably why it is preferred to do battlepasses instead as its something for everyone, even the people who claim to hate bps do them.

I do want more major content changes, but if they just flop then it seems like just a waste of time.
Boss fights, trash tradeup thing, changes to fishing system, more advanced crafting, cool jobs ie magic man, full event rework, weather system that modifies jobs or mechanics/day to day gameplay element that changes things rarely

also there are constantly new bugs popping up that need fixing, along with server stuff, crash methods, bugfixes with any small changes/additions made etc
+1 to bring back big content updates if possible though without it causing burnout.

I believe Rubik should just do what he's most passionate about, and the real ones will follow. It's good to gauge what the community wants from time to time, but too much gets you stuck, doubting your every update, and posting safe stuff to please the community. I just want to see Rubik's love and soul forged into content he likes. That's it. If people like it, awesome! If not, darn.

Letting something that has been worked on by multiple people over a decade fail due to your passion not aligning with what people want isnt a thing most people would appreciate.
