I'm making this appeal to bring to light some moderator abuse that recently happened. It all started when I was standing with this group of people out of nowhere Beef Curtains shot and killed me for no reason. I made a report on him and when we got to the sit and asked for his reason he said “I couldn't take any more of him” American red cross then repeatedly killed him while I sat and watched and asked for beef curtains to apologize instead of following proper procedure and punishing him. I said that an apology wasn't enough and that I’d like him warned, then American Red Cross apologized to Beef Curtains for having to warn him. American Red Cross left the sit and then beef curtains warned himself. The third sit I had with Xiers was when I walked up to him, and he warned me and killed me. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but he instantly killed me as soon as he warned me. He gave me no time to react to his warn. When I made the sit on him for this, Beef and American argued that what he did was allowed because there was two seconds in between the warn and the kill. Watch the clip for yourself and tell me what you think!. The second sit was an interaction between me and Xiers, who I had been previously arresting for having illegal weapons. I was running towards him with cuffs, he then killed me. Not once did I swing my cuffs on him and you can see in the clip. When I made the report on him for RDMing me, the admins claimed that what he did was not considered RDM because I was “trying to get RDM’d” which beef says in the clip. Xiers tried to argue that he was allowed to kill me because I was running towards him. The fact that an ex-admin doesn't know that basic rule is worrying to say the least. Around this time is when Xiers and myself would start following each other, while I stayed quiet he was consistently calling me a bitch and how I got destroyed. All of this is shown in the clips. his friend that I arrested for having illegal weapons. He killed me for no reason so I reported him. I got in the sit with him and said he was "good azzzz" in my austrailian accent, and i got warned for player toxicity. While I reported Beef Curtains to an Admin and that might be dealt with already by the time I throw this up, I still want to bring to light the blatant bias and unprofessionalism in the sit by american red cross, and the unwarned RDMs(twice) and player toxicity by Xiers. No way any staff members should be acting like this. Regarding beef as a staff member you are held to a higher standard. In no way should staff be rdming and then acting immature in the sit. Regarding red cross very disappointed tbh I just promoted you today. Taking the sit then having complete disregard for the sit very unprofessional on top of that Continuing to keep killing beef was enough for me. I will be in support of demotion of beef curtains+ (No staff ban) I will be in support of full demotion for American as well+. (No staff ban ) Little information for staff /players.. You are not allowed to just walk up to someone warn them Kos them. They need to be doing something that's threatening to you “ DO NOT warn people for general actions such as walking down the street, looking at them or being near them Regarding exiers I would say following someone with cuffs probably not needed tbh.. Unless for rp reasons. Idk from the clip just looked like you were trying to get him to have a reaction and he did by killing you. Idk either way he should have warned you first via e menu or advert 3 times. At most verbal Since ( Read below) I know we haven't added this to Motd so no way for people to really know this rule even exist, but if a cop is chasing you with cuff you need to wait for the animation to happen before kosing them. Or you can warn via e menu / advert I didn't agree with this but the admins at the time stated this is how it should be handled. Soo if other feel this is dumb we could probably talk about that not here tho. Ironfish and Isaac have said what needs to be said towards this kind of behavior. Beef Curtains has shown from the clips that you have provided, that he did indeed intentionally RDM you and has shown abuse of power VIA, teleporting you into a sit that you had made reporting a player for RDM, not saying any words about the situation to both parties involved warning you and the other player then returning you guys. Both American and Beef never acknowledged your presence in the sit, they would teleport you then the player you reported and didn't communicate anything towards you on the situation, the only time they did was to say "I'm returning you now" As for the punishment of Beef Curtains I am +1 for a demotion and +1 for a Player Toxicity warn removal he gave you you had shown no signs of Player Toxicity from the clips that you gave to us. As far as American he had killed Beef in the sit multiple times, didn't communicate with you, and made you feel as if reporting a player would get you in trouble rather than the player that has broke a rule. I am +1 for a strike on American (as well as a talking to about how to keep things more professional) You have not made this report about xiers but he did RDM you 2 times in the clip, 1 time because you jumped on his head and the other because you were following him with cuffs out, which by server rules you cannot kill a cop with cuffs at following you, but only if they swing their cuffs or you warn them with E menu or /advert warn 1/2/3, and advert it 3 times. Guest Posted November 25, 2023 Share Posted November 25, 2023 (edited) Hey Hyder! first of all i apologise for the unprofessionalism of the staff members that you are reporting, even though us staff members are still humans and are bound to make mistakes every once in a while, i believe the procedures of these staff members are unnacceptable for our standards For Beef Curtains, it all started with you jokingly replying to a question with "Mini skibidi toilet rizz in ohio" before being blasted by Beef, while i do understand the comedic value of being blasted after saying that, doing it as a staff member to someone you dont know is not acceptable, thankfully though he did end up warning himself for that RDM, but all the sits you've been with him after that shows how he just doesnt want to deal with you and discouraging you to report rulebreakers, imma gonna go with +1 for full on demotion back to VIP, no staff ban though For the Player Toxicity warn, i am not sure, in the 4th video (https://streamable.com/yj90sj) It is shown how you -1 rep him for "Fat Retard", while i believe that he warned you for it a little late, but i am not sure if i would go with +1 for removal of that warn, since you said it to him in a peyorative manner. NEUTRAL for Player Toxicity warn removal For american red cross, it is shown that instead of punishing, or instructing Beef to punish himself for what he have done to you, he decided to unjail him and propkill him three times before ditching the sit and instructing Beef to handle it himself, his situation is lighter than the other reported players, but still i would like to go with +1 for demotion to trial moderator and extended trial moderator stay For xiers, it can be seen you casually beefing with xiers before he e warns you and immediately after kills you, when E warning someone, you have to wait a minimum of three seconds before being able to kill the guy you are e warning, when being pulled into a sit he starts taunting you, telling you to cope and to stop crying about it, this all coming from an ex-mod by the way, after that it is shown how you were attempting to cuff him, never managing to start swinging your cuffs, even though you had many oportunities to cuff him, he ends up blasting you, when being followed by a cop attempting to cuff you, you can only kill them if they start swinging them cuffs, this is confirmed by an admin down here, ill go with +1 for 1-3d ban for IRDM Edited November 25, 2023 by Guest Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
