"Sexualizing a fox in profile picture, please change in the future." That's the exact reason in my ban-message I believe, I was told by an online mod ingame after contacting staff. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? Because I could've at least been warned to change my profile before getting instantly banned. If I had've been warned and told to change it by a mod I would've changed my profile picture immediately but I was instantly banned without any warning. I haven't received any infractions in the server itself either so this all just seems really overblown. Who warned/banned you? Jack, apparently- I can't remember exactly who it was. I'll admit that I'm at fault for changing it back in the first place, the avatar alone was ironic and I thought it was funny. I was also just informed that my ban reason on the discord is quote-on-quote "is a zoophile." I'd truly appreciate it if this could get resolved soon because I'd really rather not have that label on my name, I can assure staff that weird shit won't happen again. Tene Posted June 15, 2022 Share Posted June 15, 2022 how many infractions we giving? i told u change ur profile picture it's weird, u saw the reaction from 3 other players all calling you really fucking weird for it, you changed ur profile picture and couldn't stand to have it anything other than an aheago rl fox for longer than a day it seems, so u changed it back, not my fault u just cant listen and be normal instead of having a sexualised drawing on a fox as ur public profile picture for the server. the zoophile label is going to be used by other players because you have already shown you have pictures saved of sexualised real animals, and are happy to keep them as your profile picture even when told otherwise, i didn't ban u for being a zoophile, i banned you for having the picture again despite being told not to have it. Guest Posted June 16, 2022 Share Posted June 16, 2022 (edited) -1 getting told not to do something then instantly doing it again is pretty idiotic. and the label on your name is of your own doing, plenty of people already know and undoing your punishment wont change that fact. i think you should wait it out. also you didn't even fill out your appeal properly, how long was the ban for. Due to them having told you before not to swap it back I am -1 for the appeal because you were already given a chance and told not to do it yet you did it anyways. I was never told to not change my picture back to my previous avatar ever again, I was simply told to change it to something else. You have to take into account that I didn't change it back to offend anyone in the server, I changed it back simply because I thought the picture was funny and the fact that I had been verbally warned for it before in one of the many servers that I'm in had left my mind. My avatar didn't affect the discord server nor did it affect anyone in the server itself, at this point it's all just come down to moderators being stupidly controlling and unnecessarily authoritative. I'd appreciate it if this topic could be closed since obviously my appeal is being denied, I doubt I'll return to the discord anyways if mods are going to be this unnecessarily controlling for no reason and hand out two-week bans for minor inconveniences like this. Not a tough loss, but still, I'm very disappointed because I was genuinely looking forward to making more friends within the community.
