Angry Brown Man Posted September 17, 2019 Share Posted September 17, 2019 Your Steam Name: Angry Brown Man Your in-game name: Angry Brown Man Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:11124673 Why were you warned/banned?: I was banned after arguing with the staff about having a different moderator than vexxy administrate my sit after he made such a unthinkably basic error as a senior moderator; He failed to read the !slog damage timestamps correctly. I asked someone else to take my sit because he failed to handle it properly. This was because Kiwi420 had apparently been trying to kidnap me, but was only dealing damage. I claimed RDM, and it was explained that it was a Tranq AFTER I had to convince him for a minute and a half that he misread damage logs with a screenshot. He had already returned Kiwi420 saying 'well, he tried to kidnap you anyway' to end the sit to sweep such a basic moderation failure under the rug. I then asked for a different moderator because I felt that I deserved a proper explanation and someone slightly competent to explain why it isn't RDM. Instead, White brought me to the sit and began explaining over and over the same argument which was basically 'he hit you with a tranq'. After continuing to point out that I wanted a sit with White alone to explain the situation, White called me a dumbass twice. He then excused himself saying he was upset, and said he was banning me for 30 minutes to 'cool off' after having megagagged me for 30 minutes on text and chat. I then reconnected and talked shit further about him because he was obviously just banning me for 30 minutes because he didn't like me. He then banned me for 2 days for 'LTAP' even though I didn't leave any punishment worthy of leaving(Plus I reconnected anyway). Obviously I was angry, but I deserve to be. I just got done being arrested continually when leaving spawn without doing anything to get a bounty(Bounty fine logs in evidence. Ask Moderator Frisco or JEWJEWWORLD). I was arrested at least several times and charged fines despite not attacking anyone to regain said bounty, AFTER just getting charged a bounty/getting out of jail. At one point, I was uncuffed after paying a fine and IMMEDIATELY recuffed by a different cop for said same bounty fine. Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?: First, your staff shouldn't get angry at people then issue staff discretion bans to 'cool them off'. This is a bad look for them in the first place. Bans should only be given out if someone has broken a rule, not by staff discretion. This is the same shit that people pull when they say someone they don't like is a 'minge' or doesn't intend to roleplay(then proceeds to ban them for a week, because they couldn't catch them breaking any rules). It's the trademark of a lazy or low quality staff member. The sit wasn't even for any rules that I broke, and he only punished me for refuting his authority as a staff member(when he was obviously overstepping). Bans shouldn't ever be handed out because you think a person is angry, doubly so if you yourself are angry at them. I want them both taught how to properly take a sit. An example of someone able to better handle sits is Moderator Frisco who calmed me down after I was arrested continually then charged fines multiple times in one life without having done anything. Yes, that happened. The bounty system glitched, and multiple cops started spawn cuffing me to charge me fines. I was uncuffed after paying one fine, and immeadiatly cuffed to be charged AGAIN. Who warned/banned you and for how long?: Moderator White and Senior Moderator Vexxy were the staff in the sit which was just shit talking. White banned me for 2 days for 'LTAP'. Yes, LTAP alone. On a ban that he pulled out of his ass in the first place. Evidence: The Ban Message Vexxy fails to read damage log timestamps. Did you get gigamuted for 30 minutes or were you banned from the server for 30 minutes? If you were gigamuted for 30 minutes and you left the server, then returned and "talked shit further about him", then the ban was completely justified. I was gigamuted for 30 minutes, and then he was talking about banning me for 30 minutes in order to make me 'cool off' because I was upset. I then reconnected and told him to fuck himself, bypassing the gigamute. In other words, I didn't leave the server. I bypassed a mute at BEST(which shouldn't have been given anyway). The reason I did so was because he was telling me he was going to ban me for half an hour for a reason he pulled out of his ass. The fact was that he was just as tilted as me, and was just handing out a ban to me since he didn't like me. The ban was not warranted, as the situation was caused solely due to White talking shit to me immaturely, calling me a dumbass multiple times. He also took a condescending attitude. I claimed your sit and learned that Vexxy had done nothing wrong with his sit. He put the incorrect logs into chat and you hounded him on mic before he could correct his mistype. I brought you to a new sit only for you to talk massive crap about staff. I ignored it initially, and explained that Vexxy had indeed done your sit correctly. Upon telling you this you wouldn't stop yelling into your mic saying staff didn't know what they were doing, I was telling you to hush so I could explain in total how the rp was legal. Again you wouldn't listen, I decided from all the bad things you were saying to not willing to listen during a sit, to gigamuted you for 30 min saying cool off, and that was all I was going to do. Then YOU decided to leave to avoid the 30 min gigamute punishment witch was a nice gesture from me especially since you called me something racist, you then left the server which in turn made it Ltap. Turning your 30min mute to 2 day ban. Thats the basic overview of it from my side. (Also i called you a f’ing dumbass once for clarification, i didn't call you dumbass twice. This was my bad i did get slightly upset, but you in turn called me a f’ing n-word. I might've cursed unnecessarily, but racism is clearly against the rules in !motd.)
