Why were you warned/banned?: RDM in a sit | Disrespect | Attempting to crash the server | Extended to perma for toe 

 

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I wasn't going to appeal, but I suppose out of principle.. I will. Previously I had a stint of playing for 2 1/2 years and holding the highest play time for like 10 months out of that.. I came up with ideas like the pickup box, raid mechanics like the material grenade, the break time for c4, balance changes for guns, among other things.. so it's needless to say I am passionate about wanting tit's to improve and succeed. With that being said, a group of my friends and I, some in RARE and others who previously played on tits started watching.. in our opinion the downfall of the server. As some people stepped into staff positions and deterred what was once great about how tits was ran, subtle changes like lowering class identity, making rare sweps obsolete, staff that weren't vetted and constantly made incorrect bans. Among other things, this lead a lot of us to quit and move on. So, I recently heard that tits was under new management and wanted to come check out where the server stands, and obviously one staff member doesn't represent the servers ideals as a whole. But the underlying problem to me still seems to be there.

 

So I login, find a place to start basing and try and solve an issue with my fading door not overwriting the previous access, I spam my fading door probably 40 times in the span of a minute trying to solve this issue, and if you know anything about server side tps related issues, this would be the same as someone... moving a prop with precision 40 times, quite obviously not malicious or an attempt to crash the server. Toeslurper notices me spamming something in console, and doesn't read that it was fading_door, and mistakes it for prop spamming - so he jails me, then teleport's to me. At this time my friend and I were messing around, and as I knew I did nothing wrong I didn't get serious, I thought toeslurper messed up because he unjailed me after like.. 30 seconds and I killed him because he was in my base and in my mind the sit was over.. (Yeah, I suppose this wasn't the smartest play) He then proceeds to jail me again, and I was joking around that I would get him banned because he left me in the jail for a minute without explaining anything or asking any questions. And after some built up animosity towards staff and how they treat players, I wasn't the nicest to him.. here is his perspective. 

 

So yes, I called him an idiot. I was building my base, fixing a bug with fading doors and frustrated because I was in an admin sit which didn't need to happen. And honestly I could've taken the ban for staff disrespect and that would've been a-Okay with me. But he decides to put 'Prop spamming and RDM in a sit' as well, and asks for a 7 day extension. All of that just because he doesn't understand what a fading_door is, and jailed me. Inadvertently Rubik sees 'prop spam' and chalks it up to me 'attempting to crash the server' and I am now sitting here permanently banned from the server, without any malicious intent, and sitting in my base - and now have to address this mishap on the forums. So all because this new staff member created an unnecessary sit, I couldn't larp as a pickle today.

 

And that's just life, I was mean to staff - cause and effect. Yadayada, fair play. Maybe I would've apologized too if Toeslurper hadn't turned out to be a liar and big fat phony after telling Rubik that "I was mass spamming props and after asked to stop you continued to spam props and called him a nigger" now if there is one thing I can't abide is a liar. https://gyazo.com/de89f0c9152f72c5098a038335a43eab

 

I never said the 'N' word, and didn't spawn a single prop. The video proves this, and as far as me calling him an idiot; I don't stand corrected, and it turns out my staff disrespect was fairplay, as Toe is truly an idiot.

I tried to speak to you since we were getting tons of notifications in console. When I jailed you to stop you from spawning more and TPd to ask you what you were doing. You IMMEDIATELY started shouting at me and being extremely disrespectful and vulgar towards me. I unjailed you per request and you immediately RDMed me in the sit. I then started videoing where you threatened to get me banned through your relationship with the servers previous owner. You were extremely disrespectful while all I was trying to do was figure out what was going on. Here the video of the sit from my end

Next time please be more respectful of staff and our duties, all I wanted to do was figure out what you were doing. Also I was incorrect to add prop spam, you were tool gun spamming as seen in logs. I have already talked to higher ups about this and it has since been adjusted.

I don't know how to say this in any other way, but you want to ban me for a month for calling you an idiot..

So... what was I spawning in? Excuse me?

So, after your own admission you said I now wasn't spamming props, but it was 'tool gun spamming'

 

So.. in short you lied. Or a easier explanation, and to put it simply, my accusations in the video weren't far off.

Im not going to talk in circles, you were spamming the fading door tool as seen in the video. As staff, we investigate those things, when I went to investigate you did nothing but impede that and be constantly disrespectful. You also killed me in the sit, do not mistake my admission of mistakes as an admission of guilt. This is all I have to say on the matter.

I would be fine with reducing your ban at least to the original 7 days. I will leave this open for more feedback from other staff on this but yeah, at the least I would be fine with 7 days given the fact it was a toolgun and not actual prop spam.
