toeslurper24 Posted July 20, 2019 Share Posted July 20, 2019 During my time on the server a few days ago, I kidnapped a gentlemen by the name of Tass and shot him after he respawned. I Wasn't in my base, I was looking for my friend Hubbas base however he just despawned it. So I killed tass in the building. Tass brought me to a sit and also said this in all chat. Wondering if this is an actual rule? The discussion is in the OOC chat in the image Lmk. Tass Posted July 20, 2019 Share Posted July 20, 2019 If they are inside your base/kidnap box you can kill them for trespassing. If it is not your house/box/on the street you are not allowed to kill the people you kidnap. Edit: If we had to write down every single rule, motd would be infinitely long because of all the shit we would have to put word for word or else you guys would say "it's not specifically in motd" Edit: I quite literally also brought one of the super admins and he agreed with me. If you have their box and you actually managed to kidnap them, then yeah off them as you please; they’re your property at that point essentially. ajvick0075 Posted July 20, 2019 Share Posted July 20, 2019 I feel like if it's not in the motd then you can just make up stuff to work in your favor, he obviously had the intent to kidnap you, and many people kidnap with others who are not on their door. It would be one thing if he just knocked you and left you where you were and then killed you, but according to this, that is not what happened. When people kidnap someone they don't always take them back to their house, so why should we treat this any differently? Also when you are kidnapped you are helpless and can't really do anything besides hope and pray they don't kill you. Your life is legit in those people's hands at that point. The rule should state if you successfully kidnap someone and have to intent to kidnap them then you can do as you please, however if you fail to kidnap someone then you cannot kill that person because you have failed.
