smer Posted July 16, 2017 Share Posted July 16, 2017 We were in a voice chat and were meme'ing about a rep bomb we weren't actually rep bombing. With Ash, I didn't like what he said about Shard, considering he's my friend and decided to -1 him, so that's a perfectly legit reason to -1 someone, they said something negative about my friend and I didn't like it. Pippy did the same thing, considering he's a friend of Shard's as well. And in Ensiferum's case, I -1'd him because I didn't like him. It should just be removed since people cause drama and then -1 other player's rep because they are salty. And when they get done, they will both start reporting each other and waste everyone's time. While Rep Bombing is childish, and should be taken care of, in the reality of things, Reputation on the Forums really doesn't matter. You can ask people for +1's or ask people for -1's(Like Zek) It really doesn't matter. The use of it is mostly to see what the community thinks of you. If your rep is nothing but the same people being childish, then its clear you guys have complications. If you have a lot of +1's from different people, you seem to be pretty liked in the community. If you have a lot of -1's from different people, you seem to be pretty disliked in the community(not taking in account of if you asked for the Rep) Sure, it may start drama here and there, but Drama is formed always when two people wanna butt heads with each other. (pippy, shard, smerexy, wanted, moist) they know what they are doing, they know they are rep bombing but they can just make the excuse "omg he was mean this one time to somone i know" or "he said something mean about a gang i like" bullshit like that. but they know that they can make excuses so they think they are untouchable. its sad man.
