[Official] Map Creation Ideas / Suggestions

I think this is a great idea! First of all, BRING BACK THE PILLS!, and second, I think you should have a news station. Create a cameraman job and a news anchor job. Players could spawn TVs to put in their homes, and you could also have a celebrity job or something so people could switch between channels. If you wanted, as more of a gag job, you could create a porn star job and make that one of the channels as well.

all these ideas are so good. I could maybe do some ideas for the basic layout of the map. I have experience with CAD so I can make actual blueprints

i'm sure its already been mentioned, and if it has just count this as a +1. But a hospital would be a great idea, and maybe make the respawn time 10-30 seconds, with a Paramedic class. 10-30 second respawn time because I realize this is not a serious RP server. But the dynamic of a Paramedic class just seems cool.

Honestly, all we need in a map is a downtown that can handle 90 people both in performance and size. 

 

Then the next thing is making the pd bigger.

 

That is really all we need.

 

Maybe add:

• a little pond area that sugar can bring back the fishing addon

As some mods requested, they don't want a full new map. They like downtown because it is downtown. My question is would you prefer to have a more extensive edit of the current map such as a bigger PD, more areas, fully optimized? Compared to a complete and original map that takes inspiration from downtown?

I'd rather a new map drawing inspiration, honestly, because that'd set us apart from other servers. Downtown's getting boring anyways.

I think just optimizations to what we already have would be great. We don't really need a brand new map, cause we all know and love downtown, so just some optimizations like you said (bigger PD and more areas, such as an underground area) would be a good option.

I would like a bigger PD with the same downtown feel to it. There are some buildings that should be bigger/new buildings.
