Who are you reporting?:

Sn0ww

Why are you reporting this player?:

I was playing gmod and he just pulls up and starts playing around with vehicles and lootboxes while noclipped. I don't know what he could possibly be trying to do just jerking things around in noclip. At the end there is also a gun dealer who mass rdms, and Sn0ww just ignored it happening. I hadn't been playing long but there were 20+ mass rdmers in the duration of my session, and I didn't see any of them banned.

Is this seriously what the moderators do now? just ignore mass rdm and play around in noclip?

Do you have evidence related to this incident?:

Yes

So it really just seems like they were trying to move a bunch of junk out of the way since it seems like it was being blocked. However, yeah the noclipping is pretty blatant. They are brand new, so I think they need to be talked with just so they understand the severity of noclipping in main

+1 for demotion/retraining.

This has always been an insta-demote.

Where is the abuse? He was moving props out of the way, just doing it in a silly way. He's not abusing the tools, just using them in a situation that didn't warrant it. Obviously that doesn't excuse the act itself, but saying he is ABUSING noclip is a stretch even for you

Not staff on duty while conducting sit in mainland, using noclip in a situation that doesn't require it, moving other peoples props and entities for some reason, flinging people around that are not involved. Does he have to noclip into someone's base and blow up everything for you to call it abuse.

If you are taking a sit in mainland, while it is not necessary try to be on the Staff on Duty job. It is located right above the custom class section at the very bottom of the f4 menu. If you do not see the job, it will be there after you relog. Always try to use noclip very sparingly while in mainland.

The only time you should physgun a player in mainland is if they are stuck. Do not use any staff commands/tools in mainland besides the aforementioned ones. Nine times out of ten, you can just take the sit to sitland.

Who trained you?

I see this video and I do lowkey cringe internally I won't lie. Noclipping like that seems wild because we're not used to seeing it happen or doing it. However, Sn0ww was literally just made staff today and likely simply didn't know not to do this. I really don't think this action warrants an instademotion, as he didn't have bad intentions. Could he have done this without noclipping or physgunning other players? Absolutely; but, to demote him for simply trying to fix a problem that seems to have been intentionally created by Chesmond (maybe I'm wrong but I somehow doubt it) doesn't make sense imo.

Hello, so if this had been a scenario of them doing it just for fun and noclipping around/moving stuff for the fuck of it, it would absolutely be a demotion. You can tell from the clips provided it was a staffing situation and he got fed up with being swarmed by people/having people in his way. This would not be abuse due to intent, but instead misuse. He could have turned off player pickups to avoid grabbing people while trying to move stuff. or could been a little more patient - but this is not something to demote for. We are not going to demote someone for making a staffing error and misusing their abilities without any ill intent.

This should be a moment of education and a stern reminder how serious misuse of the noclip abilities can be. I firmly believe this staff member would do much better with re-education rather than demotion.

+1 for re-education. I completely agree with this. Using noclip outside of the sitting area is a definite no unless it’s absolutely necessary. I believe the staff member should have taken precautions to avoid picking up the players. It also looks like he was trying to clear some things out of the way instead of making things worse. While I think there was definitely a misuse of noclipping, I don’t see it as a reason to demote him. Since he is a brand new staff member, he just needs to have a conversation about this issue.

I agree with everyone else here, abusing your tools in mainland has always been an instant demote. However you can see during these clips he trying to move all the junk from out of the way without removing it (which annex could have also done with his scooter knowing it was stuck instead of leaving it blocking the tunnel). He should not of no clipped around to try to free the stuff and wither it was training issues or just because he had less than 3 hours experience I don't think he should be demoted over it. Retraining him and going over everything again aswell as keeping a close eye on him for any future issues I think is the best way forward for this.

+1 for Retraining
