Succ is a biased moderator and cant talk out issues

In my opinion this is completely up to the staff member how they wanted to handle it and your lucky that it was just a note, we use this system solely to inform other staff members on what the player has previously done and at the end of the day I think  @Succ The Zucc was in the right here.

Why am i just lucky it was a note? In no way did I harass anyone, if succ felt harassed he should have instantly blocked and muted me in game which he did not do. This is told to almost every player who reports someone for harassment. Everyone seems to be ignoring that what i did is not against any rules in any way. Yes its up to the staff member if they want to note/warn me but that does not mean it is always valid.

Well, as far as I know, you were told to stop interacting with him prior to the messages in OOC. Blocking/muting works only if the player isn't also talking shit in OOC/discord gen chat. Realistically, you probably wouldn't receive a ban for what happened, but I'm of the opinion that it's enough to warrant a verbal or warning for future reference, so leave him alone! There was no need to continue the situation in public chats after zucc left the vc, you could've just made an appeal/report at that point. You also don't have a perfect record so idk why you're saying that or why you think this verbal will make any sort of difference. I know it's an alt account and your record is pretty clear on it, but it doesn't change that you have many warnings/bans on your main.

Did you even read what was wrote? I was told to stop harassing him after calling him a pussy which i did. I think i have every right to ask a staff member about a ban they did. Blocking and muting 100% works for ooc and discord gen chat ie i have spys blocked and many others. Are we still trying to say that insulting someone by calling them a pussy is harassment really... My record is relatively clean on both my main and alt for the past few years and i have zero punishments for any sort of harassment at all. I don't know if you actually read any of this because i had no need to make an appeal until i was brought 1 hour later after all interaction had stopped and verbaled. I wasn't the one who was banned i was just trying to talk to succ about a false ban he did. The verbal makes a difference because this sets the precedent that very tame shit talk (which succ believes should be allowed even as smod as the discord ss shows) is enough to verbal/ punish people and make it to where they can't interact with a player again when this has never been the case beforehand. Succ has a large history of being very bias against me (he said in vc with hency and annex that he would have false banned me too if he knew it was me)  and my friends for really no reason and i believe he will use this verbal and attempt to punish me for anything i do or say about him even if it's allowed to be said or done. I think his ego was hurt about being called out for a ban and then having to unban annex so he verbaled me.

 

I would like to hear why @Succ The Zuccconisders calling someone a pussy and trying to discuss false bans is harassment since you have been viewing and reacting to every comment i think you should respond.

I have to agree that I think the majority of this situation is pretty basic/tame in terms of what could be considered to be harassment. I think you following him can count as some level of bare bones type of "harassment" but I recognize that following from ingame to vc is stupid and instigating.

Calling someone a pussy is not harrassment, but following them around is still not really okay. I've had quite a lengthy chat with succ where we talked about this and the end result of that conversation is:

Succ seriously should've avoided handling this, but due to a miscommunication issue when talking to henchy he thought henchy told him he could handle it as a sit. This wasn't henchys intention but I think the use of "formally telling him to stop" is what threw this thing for a loop. Henchy was just making sure that succ had actually told him to stop so there would be confirmation/proof of succ trying to avoid the whole situation. 

Had this been handled by another staff member (the staff on at the time refused to take succs sit.) the end result should have been that terry would have been told to please stop bothering succ, and both would have been told to mute and ignore eachother if they can't co-exist. A note on terry is not excessive, and succ has told me he would not want terry banned for just messaging/pinging him. (Obviously this doesn't mean terry can go messaging him and pinging him after this situation attempting to cause any more issues.) I think the note should specify that terry has been told to leave succ alone and that genuine harassment could result in escalated punishment. It is common knowledge that terry and succ have never gotten along and have had issues for years now. I think now is a great time to end this. 

So yes the situation was mishandled, and there was a better way to go about remedying the situation, but terry is no innocent victim here, hes just not the boogie man in this single instance. I am hoping the conversation I had with succ helped him to understand why these things need to be handled differently, and why this gives a bad look. 

I will be +1 for a change in the note to mention only banning for genuine harassment that has been vetted by the admins. If any staff have any future instances between succ and terry, please come to me, or the other two admins and we can take a look into the situation and determine what might need to be done. 

Terry you are being asked to leave succ alone from now on, he will not interact with you anymore, which includes any staffing situations. If you end up having the rare case of needing an MRDMer banned, someone else can make a ticket or something. Dont voteban if succ is the only one on without attempting to contact other staff MULTIPLE times, but this will hopefully be a rare circumstance if it happens at all. Just pretend he doesn't exist, and he will do the same. There will hopefully be no need for any escalation after this point. This would be for the best for both sides imo,

I don’t see what there is that you want zucc and burns to add. @Blue. pretty much summed up the problem and its resolution.

Why is there a note in the first place? You cannot just note someone who stopped interacting with you when asked to. He was insulted in like a 5 minute period.

 

As staff your decisions are always going to be questioned that is not harassment. Can we get some actual opinions instead echoing the last comment. The only person adding meaningful comments to this thread is blue.
