The note is there because Terry continued to contact Zucc via public channels after being told not to contact him anymore. He was also told not to contact zucc prior to even the discord vc. I understand that he’s staff and therefore his decision to warn/ban you can be questioned, but after the discord vc was ended y’all’s responsibility was to appeal, not continue shit talking in ooc and discord gen chat.

 

Stop interacting with me means stop interacting with me, terry didn’t adhere to this principle and was given a note to cement the fact that he needs to leave zucc alone.

 

After you take a sit, the player is unhappy with the outcome of your decision and starts insulting you and spamming OOC about it. How would you handle this?

And blue even said the note should stay and just have the reasoning slightly adjusted, so the opinion really hasn't shifted

So who told you this? because its not the case the first interaction i had with succ outside me getting warned for failrp was that vc. I do not care that i got warned for failrp i was never angry about that What i was angry about is how succ banned someone for no reason. Succ left that vc when i tried to calmy talking to him about a ban he did on annex. After he left I called him a pussy in ooc for leaving then @ him in discord to join back the vc so we could continue to talk after i @ him in discord he told me what i was doing was harassment. If you are going to comment on this please get the facts straight.

He was in the public channels with him before being told not to interact with him. The first interaction with Zucc yesterday other than the sit was in the discord. I had the appeal already written but because of the nature of the situation I never was in the sit so I thought talking it out would be fine. After Zucc returned after being called out we had a civil discussion and everything was handled. So I ask again why is the note necessary to be added 2 hours after the last interaction.

 

The reasoning being given in this thread is if anyone says anything mean at all and you don't even try to mute or block them they can be instantly noted without repercussions.

 

Example: If I was still staff and say DarkenDG's friend was banned by me. DarkenDG joins vc to talk out the issue but makes a valid point so I leave the channel instead of continuing the conversation. So then say Darken @'s me because I leave mid conversation and calls me some names in OOC. Would I then be able to give him a verbal for harassment even though I took no recommended steps to mute or block this player? The precedent has always been to mute or block the player unless they are being openly racist or homophobic.

Probably not because Darken doesn't care enough to repeatedly ping you and try to grab your attention both in and out of games and acts like a grown adult

While I don’t think it’s no secret that Terry and Zucc don’t get along too well I don’t really think this real justify reasoning for a note. From all that I’ve seen in this appeal there’s not really a decent argument for harassment. Yeah Terry called him a pussy for backing out of vc to avoid talking to him (which there’s nothing saying he can’t in the rules) but it’s not really a good enough argument to call for harassment imo. 
 

 As blue stated above though the main reason for the note is to document the discussion that has occurred for Terry to stop interacting/bothering Zucc. Terry didn’t follow to this when initially told to so I think the note is justified.

besides a recent mnlr ban my record has been clean for years there is 0 previous harassment

Alright so I'm gonna go ahead and accept this, and make sure the note only mentions that you aren't to harass succ. This is not a harassment punishment, just a note for reference and should not be used to punish you for any misbehavior outside of genuinely harassing succ. 

To reiterate, this is not a punishment, and it won't be treated as such, compared to having it just be a harassment note, which would imply it being a punishment. If you can both just ignore each other there will be no issues to arise.
