The server itself lagged twice during that time, but apparently it’s because the server host is being actively DDOSed. This is one of the most unique experiences in Gmod. What other DarkRP server out there has (mostly) functioning Nextbots, an entire Backrooms, portal spawn events to the aforementioned Backrooms, and it's well optimized? ? Rubik Posted October 5, 2025 Share Posted October 5, 2025 The server hasn't crashed since the 1st and that was due to a bug which has since been fixed. Nothing to do with the map at all. If you can't maintain a connection to the server, you could do a traceroute and send me the details. I can forward it to the network guys to take a look! Nextbot issues should be resolved as well, I made some optimizations and fixed a few bugs which could have been the cause of the crashes. So far so good! I'm not 100% sure what the issue you're experiencing is but it could be related to the AISURU botnet attacks on the entire backbone of the internet. To combat this, our host added Cloudflare as DDoS protection. This is actually insane and unprecedented in the Garry's Mod community.
