First off, I would like to say.
I'm sorry for RDMing in a sit, I've been in sits before and this isn't something that I normally do.

In this case with Agro handling the situation alone, I knew it wasn't going well and they were going to really try to one side this because they don't like LGBTQIA+ stuff. I had my crashout moment and shot them after the transphobic comment they made, and I'm sorry for making that action. Although, this isn't my first run in with Agro. Usually I do my best to ignore transphobic comments from him and others, also getting targeted for (kidnapping, arresting, hits, etc.) because they want to try to annoy me to the point where I crash out. In my opinion, Agro doesn't rp. All agro does is run around trying to piss people off. They make people unhappy and ruin others fun without reason other than gaining enjoyment from it. I don't think that it was okay for them to take their own sit in this situation since this was an issue that happened with them for the NLR part. All I did was kidnap them after seeing him with their back towards me outside of the place that they just raided. (wasn't my base). I returned and kidnapped them and tried to put them into a cage, but they brought me into a sit over it. Maybe I'm in the wrong but I didn't target them, my base was already in the same location and had their back out and I thought, why not take advantage of the situation? I don't think its right for me to get put on full blast over Player toxicity and be held accountable especially after what was said to me during the sit. Its a bit childish but I'm fucking tired of being nice and putting up with the transphobic/ furry phobic shit.

I do not run around and try to piss people off as I barely play and RP due to sits and also being busy. I am allowed to deal with a situation that happened to me when it is an obvious rule break. I was going to give you a warn for NLR because you have history but you decided to kill me in the sit. You are being held accountable because you pinged me right after being banned telling me to "Kill yourself transphobic fuck".

I think a month is excessive for just saying kill yourself, usually hefty bans are saved for when they go above saying that, going into detail or continuing to do it multiple times. While I understand technically you can ban for longer periods of time, at the same time aren't we encouraged as staff to shrug these things off? I mean just trying to find information on it I see situations of higher ups saying to give less of a punishment, and to even ignore it. I understand its never ok to tell someone to kill themselves as an actual insult, but couldnt this have just been a 3d? Is a month absolutely necessary?

While I personally think a month ban for telling someone to kill themselves is outrageous considering it's the most generic shit to tell someone, you did break the rules which resulted you in getting consequences from it. However, I do think a week ban should be given considering you have priors for RDM and NLR but no priors for toxicity

i think 1 month is too long for saying KYS and nlring+rdming during sit but i think 1 week is too little so i think we should meet in the middle for reduce to 2 weeks

I think a 1mo ban is a bit too much considering this is their first time doing something like this. However, you definitely shouldn't be telling others to off themselves it's just best to not say anything. if you have a problem with someone just talk it out or ignore them entirely if possible.

I'm down with reducing your ban to 1w.

Yeah I think what you did is really really silly, a big ban is definitely fair.

 

Personally think a month is a tad excessive for a single msg however, like what blue said, month bans / heavy bans are usually more for when they do it excessively, or at least not just a single message.

 

I'm +1 for a reduction to either 1w or 2w, though I'm leaning to a week based off their lack of priors for player toxicity.

 

Edit: Can kinda see 2 weeks being a bit more reasonable after discussing the ban with other mods/Mr chesmond - this kind of language really isn't acceptable, just been a tad desensitized to it lately which is why I felt a 1w was more justified at the time.
