I understand it wasn't cool for me to crash out like that and I'm sorry for my behavior Agro.

I understand I did something that I shouldn't have done, however there was something that shouldn't have been done on Agro's side as well.
I feel like its reasonable for them to apologize about what they've said.

lol why did you get a 1 month ban for a comment in discord, this is way too excessive for what you did. You shouldn't be punished in game for comments made out of game, at least comments such as the ones you made, a simple timeout would have done for this comment not an extension of the original ban. That's not even considering the fact that this is your first offence for such an action. As per our guidelines I'd say this falls under Personal Attacks which is punished as per the following guides:

Personal attacks on other players should result in a 3-day ban - 1-week ban - 2-week ban depending on continued offenses/previous history

 

This ban shouldn't be a month under any circumstances.

You definitely broke nlr base off the clip agro provided ( shouldn't have returned after agro killed you ) 

But being banned for a 1 whole month is wild , with whatever you said on discord is wrong shouldn't had increase the ban to 1mo you're looking more at an 1w

 

For that reason I'm +1 for reduction to 1w

The original sit regarding RDM/NLR/RDM in a sit stands, based on the evidence provided and self-admission. That being said, a 1 month ban is way too long and I have no idea why we skipped there for a single comment in discord. 
 

If you believe you are the target of player harassment for any reason, please compile evidence and make a report on it. Lashing out in-game or over discord won’t be productive, and there are avenues to seek justice if that sort of thing really is going on. Yes, it happens basically every day— but we need actual evidence in order to provide a path for recourse.
 

I will say this in plain words. Transphobia is unacceptable and is not allowed on the server. Please report it if you find yourself being affected.

///Decent made a good point about drama mongering so I’m changing my vote to +1 for reduction to 2w ban unless some actual evidence can be provided.

The ban was NOT just for telling someone to kill themselves, this player has proven that they are not capable of dealing with emotions in a proper manner, and continued to progress aggression. They were in a sit for NLR, which wouldn't have even led to a ban, but THEY CHOSE to rdm in the sit, because they were upset. Then after being banned(a ban which is objectively valid) they decided to tell the player to kill themselves.

 

As for the "apology" for their gross comment, it was only made while adding in a laundry list of reasons why they did it, including saying that they shouldnt be held accountable(invalidating the entire apology)

Who is meant to be accountable for your actions if not you. Quite frankly, anyone who is claiming they are taking accountability for what they did either didnt read this, or didnt comprehend it.

As a final note, other players are not liable for how you take what they said. If you assume that something someone said is meant to be toxic, then choose to be toxic to them, that is your fault.

Hello admins.
I am not involved at all but from reading the responses the appellant has provided no evidence for transphobic comments made by the staff member, if there is evidence that is only in staff chat you can disregard this.
I'm pretty sure there is a requirement of proof to make accusations like that, especially considering transphobia is a highly punishable offense. I have only seen evidence of the appellant saying for the staff member to kill themselves which obviously isn't ok.

So what I'm getting from this situation is that you broke NLR, got reported for it, RDM'd in a sit and then when banned for this behavior you took it outside the game to Discord. I don't really understand how Agro was a "Transphobic fuck" for saying your name is troll. Agro did his job, admittedly banning you for a little longer than I would have, and acted professional the entire time. I think bringing the situation to Discord after being banned is weird personally. Not to mention there is 0 evidence being provided of the "transphobic things" Agro did so this is just drama mongering.

 

The apology feels very fake to me and barely feels like an apology. I find it hard to reduce this ban to anything less than 2 weeks because of this.

After reviewing the situation and your history, I want to provide my thoughts.

Your ban was issued due to NLR and resulting player toxicity, and it was thus extended to one month due to the nature of your behavior after the incident. While I understand that you may be frustrated, it's important to recognize that your actions, both in-game and in how you respond to others, carry consequences.

Looking at your history, you have a recurring pattern of RDM and have had prior issues with NLR. Because of that, I do not support a full unban, as these repeated violations show a continued disregard for server rules.

However, that said, I would like to recommend reducing your ban length. While RDM and NLR have been issues before, this appears to be your first documented instance of toxicity. Given that, I believe a one-week ban would still hold you accountable while allowing room for growth and a chance to return with a better understanding of the expectations moving forward.

To be clear, I don’t have the authority to reduce your ban myself, but I’m suggesting that staff consider adjusting it to one week rather than the current month.

Thank you again for submitting the appeal. I hope you will use this time to reflect and return with a more positive approach to the server and community.

1-2 Week suspension is understandable, I wasn't trying to get unbanned but to have my case be re-evaluated. I've gotten a friend to help me set up what I need for recording clips. I'm going to be prepared next time in case this comes up again.
