Spamming, Targeted Harassment

Making this post at the recommendation of a staff member because they at the moment could not do much due to tmod training and other such things, and it would be nice if said staff commented on this for the sake of confirming the absolute bullshittery happening in ooc constantly.

Onto the report, ongoing spam of these players in order to make my experience on the server increasingly less fun. For context, random players for WEEKS have been telling others to !pm/ !trade me so that other players will do their dirty work. I have been spam traded and pmed hundreds of times and yes, for EVERYONE so happy to ask, I have muted dozens of people and auto declined trade requests. The only problem now, is that the same (alleged) people who are making these requests pretending to be me has led to several people mass negative repping me, falsely claiming that I am a scammer, when I never ONCE offered in-game money or items of monetary value to ANYONE.

Unfortunately, due to the inability of staff to take care of my sit, I have absolutely no proof who are currently doing the anons themselves today. HOWEVER: I do have screenshots of the gross spam, negative repping, and player targeting outside of anon chat. Again, I would appreciate if the staff online at the time could post any evidence of such anons as I quite literally cannot do it as a player, and swapping to security specialist doesn't reveal them after the fact. In the screenshots, you can see the sheer amount of spam that these two ALONE are doing even when they aren't targeting anyone in particular and it's amazing that they haven't been muted at really any point, but I keep giving these players chances to stop targeting me, as the only sit I've called over anons or other targeted harassment lately are the disgusting predatory accusations that have been made at me recently.

I have muted these players and the anon chat on several occasions now since this has started, but them telling OTHER people to spam me (allegedly) through the anonymity of the anon command, has forced me to mute and auto decline trades from both players who know better and new players who think they're being offered large amounts of money, which is incredibly unfair to both them and myself. I also made it clear that I was getting sick of the anonymous messages and that I would be reporting if it continued. It seems that "Him" only started his adverts in order to prevent players from telling items to me.

I have taken all the steps I possibly could aside for completely blocking these two, which wouldn't stop the fact that they're causing other players to engage in this behavior with spammed requests. Again, I strongly encourage any staff who sees this and has evidence on the anons themselves to PLEASE include them in this report, as it would help me to solidify the claims that these two have also been in anonymous chat as well as their OOC harassment.

We cant just tell you to mute and block on this one, they are going out of their way to harass you here. I have been paying attention to it, and I see you are at least making an effort to try and ignore it but I think its just gone overboard at this point. Now I am unsure on what punishment these players should get atm but they should be given some sort of punishment.

Id love to see this as i am not in the anon chat. You should report the people from anon who throw wild accusations at you as i believe player HIM and i have not done a lot...

I'm sorry but this just seems like you are trying to play dumb and evade the actual reason for my report. Not once did I mention raiding. "Player targeting" is the absolutely insane amounts of spam related to me and again, potentially anon messages. The negative repping is a mention of the fact that you and Him were claiming that I was scamming en masse to make OTHER people mass -rep me as a form of witch hunting.

 

I don't care that you want to promote other player's items, but you two ONLY started doing that spam far after I began adverting that I would like to buy T2s from other players for market value since that seemed to be overpricing them. I have plenty of money in game so I figured it would help out other playera who were sitting on boxes and needed some quick cash.  You don't HAVE to like my prices, don't buy my shit, but that doesn't give you the right to posse up to try and encourage people to call me a scammer for no reason other to support your own agenda.

 

 

 

I also find it a little bit ironic that most of the spam related to bullshit SPECIFICALLY related to me stopped once I was teleported to the sit and then back after I said I'd be reporting if the bullshit continued. And again, I WAS TOLD TO MAKE THIS REPORT because the staff who teleported me had been watching chat go down and said it would be better handled on the forums. Still waiting on that particular staff to comment.

NGL i dont know why half of you are even responding to this post. but thats besides the point;

 

I dont see an issue with saying to buy another players items because a player is buying/selling at a price they disagree with. Now, My issue is saying to raid hex while hes in a sit and (presumably) falsely telling people in anon chat that someone is giving away 10m and to trade them. That is ridiculous. 

 

Now, Hex I understand your frustration but with your provided evidence we can't really do anything but to try and prevent it from happening in the future and by ACTING IN GAME. I definitely wouldn't want a lot of people to trade me after someone gave misinformation that I was giving away 10m. As staff, we should acknowledge this type of behavior in chat and take action rather than waiting for a ticket in game, or a forums report.

is there any evidence of either of the 2 users ur reporting being the ones doing the anons. as far as i can see from ur evidence its him saying he will outbid your prices and saying he will -1 rep you for being a scammer. sure he spammed it a good amount but i personally (remember: personally..) dont think that alone counts as harassment.

would love to see more evidence of the 2 users being reported doing whatever and then i will make a vote

This is more of where I was focusing. The point of their comments on prices was more referring to the insane spam these two have been doing in chat lately as they post 2-3 messages per time EVERY time and it clogs up chat, I'm just pointing out that they don't seem to do it to other players who may be advertising. This is why I wanted my ticket in game to be handled and I told the staff who took my ticket that I have 0 way to prove the anons and I even pmed them after pleading that they assist in that regard because again, I literally have no way to prove the anon portion and it's honestly bullshit that people get to hide behind that to harass players. 

 

And yes, definitely ridiculous because again, new players don't know better and if I were in their position, I'd think I struck gold! Like a player wants to just give out 10m bucks? Of COURSE I'm going to trade them. Old players obviously usually know better and will trade just because or to include themselves in the troll and that's just... sad. Irregardless, still hoping that the sit taker will respond here.

I'm currently waiting to see if any staff on at the time would be kind enough to help me out. I made this very clear in the sit that I have 0 way to help myself in this regard which puts me in a really bad position in terms of that. I do however have a screenshot of someone who was warned over toxicity recently because Him told them to say something gross in anon chat, and I wanna see if they're comfortable enough to let me use it with their user showing.
