He is still a long time player and knows he cant just do what he did

I don't really think someone would forget rules regarding RDM. It's pretty much a vanilla rule across every DarkRP server. And if he's been back for a month, would that not lend more credibility to the argument that he's a player with enough time to understand the rules?

As mentioned, it is at the discretion of the banning staff member. Rivtuu did his due diligence and looked at his history and understood his play time. You should not be taking things into your own hands and be upset when they report you. To sit here and criticize Rivtuu for following the guidelines to a T isn’t chill, he did exactly what he needed to. -1 for an unban

I approached the table with my friend who was new to the server and unfamiliar with the game rules. When I asked FLORHN to explain the game to my friend, he responded rudely, escalating the situation into an argument where he ended up killing both of us for no reason. I have video evidence of the incident but have not yet uploaded it. It's clear he knowingly violated the rules, and assumed he wouldn't face consequences.

You also have to look at the circumstance of the rulebreak and while history and playtime are nice factors to consider, how recent things are should be taken into account. If these things werent, we would hand out staff to people who had previously staffed in 2015 or whatever. But thats clearly not the case.

 

florhn believes he had roleplay justification to murder these people who had a threat on his life and the other intentionally or unintentionally minged the table that florhn was at. Max punishment for “rdm” that had somewhat logical reasoning is not “education over punishment” 

 

in no world is what this player did the same as someone coming on with nitrp and just rdming one person.

 

this max punishment seems like punishment for this persons prior playtime which confuses me.
