I was banned for putting a redirect link in my bio from grabify Why should you be unwarned/unbanned? I was stupid at the time and didn't know what I was doing I thought no one would click on it. The next morning I was told to remove it and I did and got rid of the links info and it entirely. After a few days of the vote being up in the admin chat they decided to ban me permanently. I have thought about what I have done and wont do it again and would like to be back on the server helping others. Who warned/banned you? Coconut Overflow How long were you warned or banned for? I actually added a ton of AutoMod rules to Discord because of this guy so hopefully it shouldn't happen again. I understand the severity and potential harm that other staff are concerned about as well. Like what was your intention for doing this? zoot Posted July 1, 2024 Share Posted July 1, 2024 This is a pretty stupid thing to do, but it seems like you had no real malicious intent. You definitely deserved a long ban, identifying info like that can be dangerous. Seeing as this wasn’t any kind of direct attempt to grab IPs or something you may have ulterior motives for, I think 6 months is plenty time. Please don’t do this again. +1 for reduction to 6mo (unban by now). Perma staff ban for sure lol, and a really tight leash for any similar behavior.
