I like you Jason I really do but some things are just not worth reporting. If you're going to advertise your face in any scenario you need to expect people will use it for memes/trolling/reposts. I have my face on a lot of things in this community and I realize that people will fuck with me because of it. Just because I don't like someone or a group of people doesn't mean that I can target them and no one else.

 

Some things you just need to let go. This is only making them want to fuck with you more and inspiring people to go find your tiktok and repost it in a negative light in their own private discords. If you react negatively to people fucking with you it only makes them do it more.

I have pmed Jason to confirm that picture is him, if he states that is then I firmly believe ironfish should be punished for using someone else’s  picture without permission. The rules in discord are pretty straightforward regarding this issue. 
 

I used to see ironfish as a friend and someone I trusted in the community. But recent behavior has shown me otherwise and his true colors. 
 

I have seen, Gerbs comment and as much as I respect him. I completely disagree with him.   someone using your pic without permission ,In my own opinion even if someone advertises there pic or whatever doesn’t give you the right to use their pic without permission. 

 

I do agree with wat he stated about ignoring the situation and eventually shit will die down. But that’s me and everyone is different/ allowed to make a report if they feel it’s necessary.

I understand there’s going to be people that disagree with my opinion on this and although I do agree with the statement that “if you have an issue with people using / sharing your face you shouldn’t post it online”, our server rules prohibit any user from sharing another persons face without permission.
 

Please understand that this applies to any and all situations and is to protect the privacy of our players. If we enforce this rule sometimes and not other times, the rule is completely ineffective and could result in doxxing or other harmful action. The only exception to this rule is in cases where the person who’s face is being shared has confirmed that they have no issue with it, in which case all bets are off and we will not get involved. 
 

I understand that this rule may seem unfair or confusing but due to the fact there are users under the age of 18 in here we have a legal obligation to enforce rules to protect the privacy of everyone. This is not to target or protect a specific group or person and the rule applies to everyone, including staff. 
 

the takeaway here is that - everything you share online should be regarded as completely public information. You should not assume any amount of privacy or protection from potential harm. We will do what we can to protect your privacy where we can but the same protections may not apply on other servers or platforms. DO NOT POST PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU DO NOT WANT THE WORLD TO SEE.

So what if the person picks and chooses who they're comfortable with posting their image on the discord? For example if I gave terrry permission to post my picture in gen chat but then crab posts it too, can I not get him in trouble for not getting my permission? Seems like a dumb rule if that's the case because by then my image is already in titsrp discord.

I addressed this in my previous post but if the person whose photo is being shared definitively states that they do not have an issue with the photo being shared then we will not get involved, such as in the case of a group of friends making memes together and just having fun with it. The only exception to this which I didn’t mention already may be if the person is underage but so far I don’t recall that has ever been an issue.

I'm going to close this as accepted. Interpret it as you may, the evidence shows a pattern of annoying and intimidating behavior. Second, posting an image of another user without their permission is a violation of our discord rules. Everyone should take a just a few seconds out of their day to make a positive change in someone else's life, not a negative one. We have a great community here and it's up to all of us to make it a healthy one or a toxic one.
