Why were you banned or warned?

I was warned for RDM for killing people during a PD bank vault raid event because I did not advert pd bank raid

Why should you be unwarned/unbanned?

I should be unwarned because NLR and pd raid adverts are not required during the PD bank raid event

My voice isn't recorded for some reason but I essentially tried explaining to boiled watermelon that NLR and adverting pd raid during an event is not in effect and asked if he could inquire with a higher up. Half way through the sit he tried to go down this rabbit hole of NLR as well even though I hadn't been in the PD, again ignoring that NLR also isn't a thing during the PD bank raid event.

 

I understand tmods, mods, admins, whoever, may not know a rule here and there and no one fully expects everyone to get into the weeds with all the obscure rules so I cannot fault him for not knowing this rule as he is a newer mod. My problem however is that he refused to be incorrect and refused to allow me to share my side of the story and try to explain the rules to him. He didn't want to hear it and shut it down. He also didn't seek help of someone more senior after I had asked and refused to read the chat from other players that were active and have been around a while. I think there is either a deficiency in training or a deficiency in character. If this had happened to someone newer, they would be steered the wrong direction because boiled watermelon cannot and will not ask for help with a simple admin chat.

Ok yea i am +1 for the warn being removed but i will wait to see what the staff member says first.

there's no need for an advert for events like this and I think Broiled Watermelon took the route of "I'm the staff member, I'm in control of the sit", which seems to need to be reiterated, because ending the sit abruptly like that shouldn't happen, ever. I'm going to see the staff members reply before I vote.

I do apologize what has happened here. Warning staff member is in the wrong on this one. While there is a bank event in pd, you may come back as many times as you want. This goes for cops/ thief you also do not need to advert pd raid.

 

maybe staff member got this confused that’s understandable but in the future before any staff member makes a final decision on a punishment. If you are not 100% on a rule ask for help do not go guessing and end up giving a false warn.

 

I will go ahead and speak with boiled about this situation.

• During the Kill the VIP, Defend the Vault, and Golden Printer events, there is no NLR if you are trying to attack/defend the Event (NLR applies to all other situations during these events). This does NOT mean you can continually raid the same base if the Golden Printer is inside it.
