Ban Appeal

         Now that both sides have been expanded on I am a +1 for an unban. There were a few of the guidelines broken by the banning staff member. The guidelines broken were these: "DO listen to both sides of an admin sit and use logs to your advantage" | "If a sit maker works it out with the offender, you shouldn't punish the offender if it wasn’t a major server rule break" | "Staff should not make sits when there isn't a sit made. Unless you see major rule breaks..." | "DO listen to each users side of the story." | "DO be patient when people are telling their stories, don’t rush them.". I can not take your word of "they were my friends and they didn't care", however, I can take in to consideration that they did not make any sits. This fact leads me to believe that your statement has some merit to it. Once again, I am a +1 for an unban and a potential retraining of the Staff Member in question.

As staff, we should always know 100% that MRDM has taken place before punishing for it. Death logs are not enough to show MRDM. From what I have seen, the sit could have taken a lot longer to get to the bottom of, there is no rush when it comes to making decisions. Checking death log positions, asking context, always listening to both sides. We always want to make sure to have the correct decision when rolling with punishments. I feel that this sit was handled too quickly and was not given the care it deserves.

I'm +1 for unban.

Hm, Yes

I too believe you should be unbanned due to the fact there is no evidence against you to prove this was MRDM.
unless it is blatant rule break or the person in question affects you personally then mods should not initiate a sit, and should wait for a Sit to be made.

Accepted! All in all, we can't be rushing sits. You needed more context, and you could have obtained that by asking more questions. Please take more time in gathering information and making the right call in your sits, our community deserves it!
